according to Biostar utility Vcore is 1.55V
CPU temperature is 28c now (air con la)
Speedfan confirms the above.

this is what i do for my Biostar 590-SLi...
in BIOS, I OC using automatic OC V8...so the Vcore set at 1.25 and vdimm at 1.95 then, use the T-OC Utility....set the vcore at 1.5 and vdimm at 2.05... with these setting...i got 2663...HT 1333...temp. 65 full load.... works for me and finish superPI |

must you touch vdimm? cos RAM speed still below 667 in my case.
i tried using that T-OC utility - my rig hang. donno why. and with air-con on, my full load (running 2x FAH client) is around 62c - 64c. however this is subjected to my exhaust fan speed. |

QUOTE(penapis @ Mar 2 2007, 05:55 PM) [color=blue]ok la....for temp...it varies according to room and place... nothing much can be said.... of course la. just that this particular unit, i found that idle temp and load temp has a pretty huge gap. not going to go off-topic here, that one i posted on another thread already. now my concern is to find out V12 tech engine configuration and to tweak it out. |

QUOTE(8tvt @ Mar 2 2007, 05:39 PM) on 200 fsb... divider ddr 667 i set 1.8v.. it's simple... whenever you are running on lower divider, the ram will set its timing according to SPD automaticallybut on fsb 266 with divider ddr 533.. ram will work on 667.. need 1.9v.. i'm still wondering why... DDR2-400: 3-3-3-x DDR2-533: 4-4-4-x DDR2-667: 5-5-5-x and tighter timing usually requires more Vdimm Added on March 2, 2007, 6:56 pmby the way.... my cpu overclocking capability certainly increases after a few burn-in sessions. last time at 280x10 @ 1.5V it was priming up to 8hrs before it got errors then i reduced V to 1.475V which it errors at around 3hrs. then i gave it a few more burn-in sessions. today it currently primes at almost 7hrs without error, that is at 1.475V. hopefully can drop the V to around 1.45V or less before i increase the clockspeed summore EDIT: 280x10 @ 1.475V errors at 8hrs 13mins Prime This post has been edited by soulfly: Mar 2 2007, 09:05 PM |

@ Soufly
Why my motherboard only allows me to boot when i set my vdimm 2.1v? Divider: 400 Timing: 5-5-5-15 (which is 667 SPD value) HTT: 240 Multiplier: 9x Any idea?? This is my corsair value ram. Is it ram problem or motherboard problem?? Thanks ya... -pWs- This post has been edited by -pWs-: Mar 2 2007, 10:37 PM |

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Mar 2 2007, 10:31 PM) @ Soufly according to the table, at that setting your DDR2 should be running 432MHz. was that at 1T? if yes... that might explain it.Why my motherboard only allows me to boot when i set my vdimm 2.1v? maybe those other memory configuration which u left AUTO might be running tighter timing. check those auto values with A64tweaker
