in real world it does not affect performance

even with 1000mhz transfer rate if i'm not mistaken the hypertransport link was never fully utilized

u still can oc further actually..increase vcore a little and play with vidimm and ram timing..

how's your 3800+ X2?? how far did u push ur proc

increased voltage from 1.45V to 1.475V

last time was 2.5ghz ddr1000..but no time to stress it..so i downclocked it back to normal..

now busy with assigments and programming works..so dun really hav time to seriously oc..

wahh...2.5 with ddr1000?? at what vdimm mr_kalakatu??

before this 1.45v only can run 2825mhz..
after burn-in..wow..36mhz increase

On 250FSB, HT= 4X
So I set down to 3X
and push to 25X fsb, cannot boot...
Vcore @ 1.4375 in bios, dunno shud go higher or not...

But I really zero on ram o/c, no idea if my mushkins can perform, nowadays slowly gonna read up how to oc the ram, but darn mobo vdimm is only 1.95V max... sigh

1.43v at 2750mhz is good lo
but mine 2850mhz jus ned 1.37v

I just don't understand why certain AM2 defaults with 1.2V, some with 1.3V, some with 1.35V, or worse 1.4V (like mine)

1.2V to 1.25V is 65Watter
1.3V to 1.35V is 89Watter

But i have not seen 1.4V for AM2 ler....probably there r a few out there?

mine is around 1.4V default oso, 3500+ AM2

speaking about 89watter (the normal one)... my previous 3000+ was 1.35v but my current china made 3200+ is 1.4v

what vcore do u set in BIOS to get 2.5??i'm jealous

vcore = 1.45v
vdimm = 2.1v
timing = auto

HTT = 250
LDT = 4
Multiplier = 5

** just test SuperPI 1M..will test 32M or Orthos Prime at least 2-3 hours later
