I feel that HLB Wise system is damn lousy

1. no e-statement
2. change in category took few days (I requested for change in category end of March, RM 10 fee posted on April, new category effective May 2014)

Juz receive call to apply..but I check hlb website got diff promo when apply this card. Got free car cam / kids book offer. While the 1 call nvr mention got anything.

Think I shud check out the kids book fair got hlb roadshow or not.

That credit card machine have to see how the shop owner register. By right registering under petrol they will be charge 1% while other category will be 2-3% and AMEX 4.5%
Like in PD/Lukut, there's only 2 Caltex petrol station and I always top up using Caltex.
During that time I don't really know on this and each time the statement comes, the transaction done on those 2 station got 1 sure 0 cash back while another sometime got sometimes don't have.
Then I rule out those 2 stations can fly kite and go to Seremban station.
And still I can't get max cash back. The difference is sometimes I swipe from pump and sometimes at the counter.
At counter cannot get and at pump can get. So now I always swipe at pump only and no problem on cannot get cash back

Just want to recofirm the following. The first two transactions done on 30-Mar-14 but posted in April considered as April Tranx? So total Tranx for April is 8?

Nope, transaction for cash back is based on transaction date, not posting date.
Still, that 2 "missed" transaction you have to pay on next statement

Deparmental and petrol, yes need two more tranx.

Something interesting to share.
My Wise card was charged GST RM50 in Feb and HLB suppose to charge me 2nd year AF on 1st March. I found no AF RM160 in my March statement and I though HLB might have charge me in April but up till today, no AF being charged.
Perhaps HLB give auto AF waiver to Wise card ?

Yes, I can confirm that as I experienced before.. CB calculation is based on posting date.
Your first 2 transactions will go into April CB (but 1st one not entitled as dinning is not your chosen category).

But I can't confirm if the first 2 transactions count into April 10x transaction to trigger CB for April.
Most of my monthly swipes are more than 10, so can't confirm, but I believe it should work hand-in-hand as the CB transaction method, i.e. based on posting date. Otherwise will be complicated.

As the FAQ below does pointing to Posting Date.

juz sign for the wise combo with gsc.

the gsc AF will be waived if got 12 transaction per year according to the salesperson.
