Depends on your budget.. If it's just a normal drive, any brand will do

Hmm anyone knows why my 2nd gear requires more force to engage compared to the other gears? I just changed my clutch recently, before that my reverse gear was the one hard to engage. Manual Savvy btw.

lil update for my blue race machine. kekeke.

recently got temp problem due to coolant left without service, dad top up tap water (normally i will use RO water or battery water). now rust attack lor. send to proton SC, those guy diagnose it head block KO. lol. no losing coolant no problem with engine, just temp go to 5 bar upon 2 minutes after start running.

so i told my dad ask them to change coolant and see first (no pdt available at that sc to verify error code).

after coolant service, car back to glorious condition.
dad reported drain coolant super rusty tea ais colour. lol.

almost hitting 200k.

*car with my dad in melaka. me in kl. he want small car easier to park and short route routine. persona too big for him for trip to market.

**June 2005 proton savvy. 11 year plus and keep going. renault D4F engine gooding yoo.

base on price from last time i fix my car :

1. 50 per side
2. 80 pair (sparepart)
3. rear shoe = brake drum lor? if u talking bout the cover then thats dunno.
4. 90

*price might be not accurate as long time change already.

**those 3 brake related can go to any tyre shop. just make sure the centre nut not overtighten. the clutch cable, some shop can do.
if engine relate better go to savvy/renault expert shop.

in KL/PJ, i prefer go to Osman Baba shop (DELL CUN AUTO) in pandamaran klang. a lil bit far (use kesas) but worth your trip, as for full check diagnosis. he got the pdt as well. good for if got engine relate problem such as sensor problem.

OR

any big proton service centre. mayb near to your place but pricey.

my Greenie overheated last Thursday on my way back from PJ to Wangsa Maju, stuck in jam before I noticed the temperature bar is at 4 bar already (normally only at 3). drive for another 10 minutes; well, stuck in jam actually; before the temperature bar went to 5, and then 6 full bar after a minute. then terus stop tepi jalan at Sprint there

checked the water still got
aircond pun sejuk
now tak berani want to drive to workshop, afraid might cause further problem
will call tow truck lah

any recommendation for workshop near Wangsa Maju area?
saw one iklan in Mudah, workshop at Gombak; Kerol Garage. anybody has experience with the workshop?

Kerol Garage
