Problem is when I raised it up not many appreciate it well. Some even told me to shut up. They dont really know who putting money on their pockets.

oh no it's not.. cos Service Apartment not levied GST.. ( i think they factor in already)
I jus realized Z residence 0.20 plus sinking..so cheap and the facilities are top notch n well maintained..

No excluded also.. I confirmed with them already.. for ur apartments, how will it be ah? will they charge GST on the maintenance fees?

from the seminars i attended, yes, it's chargeable.
REHDA is appealing but until then, mandate stays that collection of maintenance charges is subjected to GST.
read the other thread.

if collection > RM 500K per annum. Maybe GST will be impose. For Apartment that has Annual Collection <RM500K, maybe no GST. but then, the maintenance of each of the facilities might be GST payable.

yes very true.. i googled and found it out from the customs page..

with the 6% my maintenance fees goes up to more than 400 and will most likely cancel my booking.. im gona make them reduce the fees.. saw 3 ppl complaining on their fb already.. i PM them they say our sales staff are attending to requests one by one

For e.g: the maintenance of water pump will imposed GST to JMB / Maintenance office. the usual mechanism is to channel back the GST to consumer. So, owner might pay for that. this is just my understanding on GST.
