sad.gif Hi All Sifus,

I had driven the city about 8 months.

I noticed city seems to have sluggish pick up.

Anyone want to comment on this issue.

Many thanks

This is due to the fact that City is using 16" rim. Pick up will improve if you change your rim to 15".

did u try mekanik bawah pokok? sometime they can fix ur problem surprisingly cheap and good
*
never try. I went to some accessory shop, but all say no stock la..dont know how to do...lastly went to Honda SC to fix this. They say because of my bonnet lock and my whole car alarm disarm. Change new bonnet lock for RM300, and fix all problem.

Now, if I use key to open bonnet with all 4 doors still locked, it will trigger the alarm! rclxms.gif

I driven the City for 67 months. Didn't noticed any sluggish pick up in fact quite power if i floor it.

Anyway I have added voltage stabliser and K&N filter. Maybe this has help to improve the power.

Oh ya. I have changed to 205/50/R16 tyres but I don't feel it sluggish.

Someone has shared before, the 5AT is actually more suited for 1.8 L R18A i-VTEC SOHC I4 140hp

it is due to the 5 speed auto for 1.5l ivtec
u won't feel sluggish when driving 1.8l ivtec,
thats why china city has 1.8l option but due to city fuel tank is only 40litre so it is not so fuel efficiency

agree, had seen the review on 1.5l ivtec at there said that 5 speed auto is more suitable for civic 1.8l
honda china even release 1.8l option for their city but due to the small fuel tank
they said that they have to refuel more often than 1.5l

Gonna service my car soon and i hate the waiting period for a normal oil change.

Do you guys mind sharing how long do u usually wait for normal service and which service centre is it?

Prefer to service in my hometown penang which i usually go, normal service can be done within 2.5hours. But im in PJ now.

Last serviced i did is 45k service at jalan222, waited like 4 hours for a normal oil change and i did make reservation in advance. shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

Sometimes i wonder, whats the point of making reservation when they just place my car there for more than one hour until they start the work. hmm.gif hmm.gif

Anyway, thanks for all the reply. Think i will try the USJ branch for my next service.
