Hello all.i drive honda city 2009.my prob is sometimes car is hard to start when drive like 20 minutes
It takes like 4 to 5 times to start.any idea what wrong?SA told me maybe is
time to change fuel filter.one more my stock tyre are 185/60/r16.is it okay to change 205/50?my aim is michellen p3st.tq..

makes the ride any lower? and can share where u got yours?

15000km is really fast KO. My ride is already 40000km. Seems to be no problem with the shocks

actually what did meant by KO?

mine is approaching 100k km and i think its all still well ...

Yup, i think is due to unavoidable error that i ram pothole and drove at uneven road during cheng meng, now my car not only floaty, bumpy but also alot of bodyroll although with front n rear UR bar... 😓

It might also due to im using eibach lower spring too.

Bro, u use stock is 185/60/16? Not 185/55/16?
Mine stock is 185/55/16, and im using sport Rim with offset 40, 7JJ, so 205/50/16 is most suitable, but not on stock rim.

Quite reasonable price.

Ride height is the same since stock spring is use. I install mine in Speedmod Cheras.. A forumer in LYN also. Felt comfortable letting them do the installation.

Note that the rear shocks is feels more stiff than the front. After install the shocks.. Going over speed bump won't feel rocky up and down.

My City also same. Hard to start. Need to start twice to 3 times.
Foreman told me is due to spark plug. My drive is 80k km now. Yours?

Speedmod price seems reasonable, i check IMP website, price quoted is RM1500 both Porplex and Comfort series. so expensive. Maybe Speedmod order in bulk.. hmmm

My drive about 84k.at 80k service i not change fuel filter.dont have much money.any other tyre can ngam with stock rim size about 195 or 205

hmmm... icic... maybe will drop by in ther afternoon to check out the place and ask for advice. seriously need to replace my shocks dy... do they have Fully Adjustble too?

looks like this is quite common for honda city. for me, the problem is due to battery. after change battery ok oredi.

but if i am not mistaken, there are other solution also in this thread. try search. i think involve the starter and grounding cable? don't remember lah.

about the tyre, stock tyre is 185/55/r16 kan? how come yours is 60 series. haha..
emm..i think Shreddy use 205/50/r16 on stock rim.

Its the starter motor problem. I got mine replaced to Denso unit and never encountered the problem anymore.

As Thrust mentioned, it is a known issue, starter problem. my colleague even had the same issue on 1st batch city, got it replaced FOC

Replaced it FOC by Honda service centre during 1 of their product update program to replace the starter motor. They even added additional 2 grounding cables in the engine compartment.

any options to secure/boot security? break ins are common on city
