I bought my City last year June, so insurance renewal has strikes me now.
I'm under Tokio Marine insurance (I think it's covered in HIP).

Bought the car at RM86k E spec, but now after 1 year, the insurance statement shows that:
Indicative Market Value: RM79,000
Policy Sum Insured: RM88,000
Premium Payable: RM1,750

I've read somewhere that you can't claim more than your car market value, so the statement is already over insured?
The market value I think also over valued, shouldn't it be -15% off purchase price?

My case, i'm under MSIG, bought S city last Aug.
It shows

MSIG recommended sum insured RM84k

And it gives me the option of a) agreeing to the policy, b) revised sum insured to XXXX amount

since the new city (Basic S) is around 74,800k, should i reduce the sum insured? logically, a figure <74800rm.?

dude your dirivng style is totally the other way around form the guy above who mentioned he does 450+km on a single tank ... he does 70 or 80% highway and you do the other way around ...

start stop driving will really eat up your petrol ...

and towards end of your service lifecycle ... enf od 5k or 10k interval, the car will also give you less mileage ...

Hmm, jus checked with shops they are willing to take my city 2011 highest spec with full accessories for just only 60k with 100k mileage.

Find the rv quite low as I bought it at around 93k three years ago

If I were to sell the car myself anyone know what the procedures are and how much you think can get it roughly sold for?

I had driven the city about 8 months.

I noticed city seems to have sluggish pick up.

Anyone want to comment on this issue.

This is due to the fact that City is using 16" rim. Pick up will improve if you change your rim to 15".

My City also same. Hard to start. Need to start twice to 3 times.
Foreman told me is due to spark plug. My drive is 80k km now. Yours?

hurm..there's a video that shows you can make the alarm trigger if sum1 open the bonnet when the car is locked. try look few pages, i think it is there.

Yes.. the old starter i don't know what brand.. The start up sounds a bit harsh.. After replacing it with Denso, the start up crank sounds sharper (like laser sound).
