Like to get some feedback from those who have upgraded to the latest Kodi V16.

The good and the bad?

Thanks.

Been using fire tv stick for the past few days for streaming Netflix and using Kodi.
Gotta say I'm impressed how well Kodi runs on the stick, even on wireless network I was able to stream 8gb - 16gb mkv files without any stuttering. Provided you've got wireless repeater/router close by since it doesn't really have LAN port.

i also find that over time, kodi is becoming less and less appealing.

even with builds like the beast.

i do not know if some devices are still super-duper, getting everything smoothly all the time.

or only highly customized versions work well.

reading here and elsewhere, i doubt that.

i personally no longer use kodi as the primary app, more like 4th in line.

other apps (at least for androids) are now much more reliable.

Last 1 week Phoenix seems ok. Certain football from certain countries can be streamed at hd with ease.

ok, by popular demand... biggrin.gif

been mentioned many times by me and others here and other threads.

other apps... search for:

showbox
popcorn time
movie hd
cartoon hd
megabox hd

some of them are "picky" - may or may not work on yr device depending on chipset, memory size.

Same here, as long as there are enough seeders.. Some older TV show episodes lack enough seeders for smooth playback.. Buffers like forever.. Might as well download the torrent proper.. biggrin.gif. In cases like that, other apps that don't rely on torrents come in handy.

For me, SALTS and GENESIS no longer plays as smooth as last time sad.gif

So i heavily rely on PHOENIX for my TV show and cinema movies..

How i wish GENESIS continues to work flawlessly during their glory years.. Even if we were asked to pay for a small fee, i actually dont mind paying as their work is awesome

The last time it was said that the Genesis author has stopped development of the addon. In the past he said many times before that he will not accept any fees or donations , so now that he has stopped , the addon will just be left to die a natrual death.

So enjoy the remaining links that still work while it lasts.

However the author might release another different addon, which will have a lot of features removed, and restricted to mostly premium services only.

Thanks in advanced!
