Hi,

Just want to ask a quick question. Cant find anything on google.

for example i uses Kodi on multiple platform laptop, tablet, phone.

And i usually used the Genesis addon to watch movies and TV shows.

Example when i add a movie to favourites on the laptop, that favourite does not appear on my tablet.

Any way i can have all the same favourites in all my devices?

Thanks

Hmmm, its probably a pain but you could try using Kodi backup & restore addon. Use Dropbox or a similar service to have the files synced across all devices.

Very nice. A bit off topic, how much and where do you purchase it from and have you try running hypptv everywhere on it? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...ei.pad.tm&hl=en

Hi sorry for late reply, bought it directly from china, have yet to try hypptv, as im not subscribed to one, will let you know if i can borrow friend's account or something. Anyone know any app that can accept HDMI passthrough?

hello Guys,

I just purchased Rpi2 B with 1GB RAM (the latest one). I have configured (openElec) and it's up and running. My concern here is the RAM, I only see 700MB and not 1GB is this normal?

Can anyone please advice what can I do?

I also need some help in tweaking the KODI - Resolution, Date/time (always out), mouse pointer is big and cannot scroll and others then you can help out.

Greatly appreciate for your help.

cheers

Thanks Chief wink.gif The repo "OpenElec Config" is it GUI based OR I need to use SSH/SAMBA to configure it?

Do you have the link to where to download this config?

Just enable cec on your rpi2 and you should be able to control kodi with your tv remote. I'd recommend that you connect the hdmi out from your DEVON to the ARC hdmi port on your tv so you can control the receiver volume directly.

If you wanna customize the function for your remote buttons, you can edit the remote.conf in the kodi userdata folder.

Just tested at around 10ft I'd say and it works well, rpi still receiving ir signal, more than that I don't have enough space to walk further away lol

Got my remote earlier this week... Happy happy buka.... Aiks... No battery. Haha. Got battery n hooked it up.... Niceeeeee.

Turned the remote around.. MADE IN MALAYSIA. Bought this from hk. Haha. Made a circle back home. Now gonna get another rpi for my dad.

All buttons working fine except... It can't turn the rpi ON if it's turn off. There's nothing in the openelec setting page though. Any ideas?

RPI doesn't really have standby mode, which is why that option is not available on the menu.
Even if you manage to send a command to shut it down, you'd still have to manually turn in on since it doesn't really have power switch.
Since it doesn't really consume much power (<50 cent per month based on tnb tarif? any electrician can clarify this) I just leave it on 24/7

I thought so too.. But sometimes hands too fast accidentally hit power off button. Gotta reset the player.

Need to cut off the power button on the remote.

Hi All!

Just bought myself a minix neo-x8h 2 days ago and been playing around with it.
At the moment, these are the things that I have done with it:
1) Initital setup
2) Download Kodi Helix 14.2 if not mistaken and install it. Minix do have its own version of xbmc but it was version 13.
3) Download and install Navi-X.

Is there anything else I need to do to improve my user experience? I've heard about fusion and mashup but does not really sure what it does.

Congrats on your new device.. Improving user experience? That's a very subjective question as it depends on things you desire, what can be accomplished and your willingness to get your hands "dirty". Fusion is a repository granting access to addons, while mashup is an add on like Navi-x. However, MashUp has been replaced with "Phoenix" addon. There are a bunch of other addons you could install like Genesis, Icefilms, 1channel, yify etc.. Then there r themes customization for kodi and live TV streaming. Android apps like showbox.. Basically, use the search function and read backwards on this thread for more information as its all there, answered a few times already.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Just installed something from fusion and it basically transform the whole xbmc appearance in my device. And most of the things that you mentioned is already preloaded into the system after installation.

I think the movie, drama, etc part is nearly completed. Need to add some live streaming channel especially the one from malaysia.
