hello Guys,

I just purchased Rpi2 B with 1GB RAM (the latest one). I have configured (openElec) and it's up and running. My concern here is the RAM, I only see 700MB and not 1GB is this normal?

Can anyone please advice what can I do?

I also need some help in tweaking the KODI - Resolution, Date/time (always out), mouse pointer is big and cannot scroll and others then you can help out.

Greatly appreciate for your help.

cheers
Raj

Simple.Download a repo-"OpenELEC Config" and overclock it with just a click.

Thanks Chief wink.gif The repo "OpenElec Config" is it GUI based OR I need to use SSH/SAMBA to configure it?

Do you have the link to where to download this config?

Just enable cec on your rpi2 and you should be able to control kodi with your tv remote. I'd recommend that you connect the hdmi out from your DEVON to the ARC hdmi port on your tv so you can control the receiver volume directly.

If you wanna customize the function for your remote buttons, you can edit the remote.conf in the kodi userdata folder.

i have tried all solution in order to get my Rpi2 work with my Denon Amp and nothing works. the screen always refresh/goes blank and comeback and no image. connecting directly to TV no issues.

HD Cinema works pretty well for me on Android plus it allows external player like XBMC hence can retrieve subtitles.

It streams from multiple depository.

Do try it.

can share HD Cinema in which KODI repo?

thanks

check-out OR install RobinHood add on kodi. In one of the selections they have International TV channels. Inside this there is Malaysian Channel, I have tested everything seems to be working including Bernama TV nod.gif

Greetings Everyone,

I'm interested in buying this sound card for my Rpi2 "PiFi DAC+ PCM5122 I2S HiFi Sound Board". Is it worth it? Has anyone installed this on their Raspberry Pi?
Btw. I'm running OpenElec so do I need to do any configuration in the OS for the card to work?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Probably openelec not compatible with your ht system?
Have you tried booting other os like raspbian/osmc and test the display output on your Devon amp?

thumbup.gif Finally manage to get this setup working...awesome sound quality when watching 1080 movies..via Rpi2 and Denon AMP 5.1

solution: change my phone charger (to power my Rpi2) to a better power source from "ubitap".

Hooray...so happy rclxm9.gif

Greetings and a good weekend folks.

Anyone knows what's the correct setting in KODI - Audio settings/configuration if a AV Receiver with 5.1 channel connected? The AVR brand in this subject is DENON.

Thanks and appreciate for your guide.

i just tried it but seems i may not hv got it right. only managed to stream one 1080p movie after many tries.

yes need traktv account in order to get this add-on to work properly. after account is created you will be given a code which needs to be input in one of the configuration. you need to enter on the spot in ur kodi once u got the code in order the access to work.

good luck... brows.gif

cheers
Raj

ps: I'm using this add-on and it's not bad either.
