Hi. Thanks for your reply. Just installed something from fusion and it basically transform the whole xbmc appearance in my device. And most of the things that you mentioned is already preloaded into the system after installation.

I think the movie, drama, etc part is nearly completed. Need to add some live streaming channel especially the one from malaysia.

Nice... Remember to backup occasionally before doing advanced changes just in case an issue occurs, so you don't have to start all over again from the beginning due to a format or kodi uninstall.

for yr new androidbox, some tips for u... biggrin.gif

for kodi, get these great addons:

bbts - worldwide live tv channels
http://www.bbtsip.tv/repo.html

movies/tv shows - kmedia torrent, formerly xbmctorrent
https://github.com/jmarth/plugin.video.kmediatorrent

malaysian channels, u gotta search for posts by abemin in this thread to get the instructions and xml.

there are also some great android apps u should like too:

mobdro - worldwide live tv - news, movies, sports, documentaries
https://mobdro.com/

then are the popular movies/tv shows apps popcorn2u and showbox which u can google to find them.

honestly, after 1.5 yrs, i find myself not using kodi much anymore as the android apps combined offer more, faster and easier in navigation.

lastly, do take note of the device memory available. apps like popcorn2u and kodi with many addons can take up a lot of memory.

have fun! wink.gif

Do tell what android apps you are using... Please share. I wanna test test also.

I find Pulsar is good. Fast and efficient. Although there's not much control to the language of the movie that streams.

That would be awesome. In church. Cannot watch now.
I thought so too.. But sometimes hands too fast accidentally hit power off button. Gotta reset the player.

Need to cut off the power button on the remote.
*
Since it's pretty close to the pause button, you could just change the function for the power key
Try adding this in the remote.xml file in your keymap userdata folder.

CODE
<keymap>
 <FullscreenVideo>
   <remote>
     <power>PlayPause</power>
     <teletext>NextSubtitle</teletext>
     <language>subtitledelay</language>
      <title>CodecInfo</title>
   </remote>
 </FullscreenVideo>
</keymap>

Ahhh...popcorn2u...i am frequently using popcorntime on my laptop and android tablet....it is exactly like Pulsar. but pulsar gives you control of which site to leech from.

Pulsar...basically get the original zip and the unofficial for links.

HD Cinema works pretty well for me on Android plus it allows external player like XBMC hence can retrieve subtitles.

It streams from multiple depository.

Do try it.

Don't know about others but I am first time Kodi user, Desktop PC, Win 7, (15.0 Beta 1, installed few days ago). Using the Navi-X program, I just did a search for 'Live tv Malaysia' and found this channel set by Anokjati - TV3,NTV7,8TV,TV9,Astro Awani.

It's responsive and smooth most of the time. I don't even have a fixed line like streamyx/Unify. Just using a wireless Hotspot service at my Flats, lol biggrin.gif

If I am not mistaken, you can also try going to tonton.com.my to watch the TV Channels. This I think you are forced to watch some advert everytime you click new channel, and also got about 30 sec delay in the stream.

Just enable cec on your rpi2 and you should be able to control kodi with your tv remote. I'd recommend that you connect the hdmi out from your DEVON to the ARC hdmi port on your tv so you can control the receiver volume directly.

If you wanna customize the function for your remote buttons, you can edit the remote.conf in the kodi userdata folder.

i have tried all solution in order to get my Rpi2 work with my Denon Amp and nothing works. the screen always refresh/goes blank and comeback and no image. connecting directly to TV no issues.

Probably openelec not compatible with your ht system?
Have you tried booting other os like raspbian/osmc and test the display output on your Devon amp?
