Just started toying with xmbc.
I am on maxis fiber 10mbps. But i spend lots of time waiting for content loading, and sometime buffering. And couldnt get HD content even though it said so. Same experience when playing with Netflix last time. Couldnt get HD content.

I maxis fiber throttling even for streaming? I know they throttle torrent, but streaming via xmbc?

Need a straight answer coz couldnt find anywhere else.

I just purchased Rpi2 B with 1GB RAM (the latest one). I have configured (openElec) and it's up and running. My concern here is the RAM, I only see 700MB and not 1GB is this normal?

Can anyone please advice what can I do?

I also need some help in tweaking the KODI - Resolution, Date/time (always out), mouse pointer is big and cannot scroll and others then you can help out.

Can you please guide which one is a better choice to build OPENELEC media player to watch 1080p movies, either Intel Celeron N2820/N2830 process or new Intel Atom processor i.e. Z3735F or how these 2 compare with RPI-2? Which one would you suggest? Use is purely watching online contents from Genesis etc or watching 1080p movies from local disk attached via USB.

Much better but buffering still happen once in a while

- national geograph channel
