QUOTE(haroldz123 @ Mar 7 2014, 09:48 PM) My ass hurt during my first ride around my taman It's normal. As for me to avoid ass pain, I would tend to shift my ass to another position at the saddle once I feel uncomfortable rather than just sitting still n cycle. Currently cycle abt 15km each session n no pain. Maybe this distance is too short for me to get an ass pain. Is it normal? Alternatively get a gel or foam seat cover. Plus, practise to sit towards the back of the seat instead of the long thin nose. Not good for our sperm count, i was told.Is it normal? Hi guys, just curious that any of you have a recommended grip pedals for folding bike? I'm currently using the original folding pedals when I first bought my dahon boardwalk and it tends to slip most of the time.
I'm not keen for the one with clip but just a one with "claw" that could grip my shoe better. |

Want to buy a foldable bike - checked out rodalink and they had dahon, tern and lerun. they handed me a tern brochure and the bike's all look the same - but the price seems a bit expensive for dahon and tern.
I did an online research and realised there are even more brands - lerun, trinx, giant, ori, hasa, birdy, java, doppleganger, volcano - how do I pick?! - The person riding won't be very tall - around 5 feet and a female - just starting out and wants to ride for recreation and exercise but wants to explore more things - wants the bike to be portable and to fit in the boot of her myvi - obviously the most affordable but then it depends - if it rides well, then the person will want to ride more and if it doesn't ride as well, then they will ride it less - riding on roads and maybe slight terrain - easy to fold - light - portable - may want to take it on travels How do I pick? What do you suggest? This post has been edited by pigduck: Mar 10 2014, 12:28 AM |

Not sure which between dahon/tern that fits you but brompton has no prob. Try to ask the shop to test whether can fit into you myvi car boot or not.I did an online research and realised there are even more brands - lerun, trinx, giant, ori, hasa, birdy, java, doppleganger, volcano - how do I pick?! I think rodalink is having off the season discount. I bought one from rodalink batu kawa kch n get it shipped to miri for free via bus express. They issued a discount n automatically rodalink membership. If possible, test drive ur foldie |

The conditions of your purchase is quite perplexing! What do you suggest? Another option is the XDS but the 16 inch wheels option. This bike is built better than XDS 20 inch counterparts. Whether you can ride long distances depends on the rider. The last 5 rides of the Penang trip we did, there were 2 retired Cikgus who uses it with no problems as it is compact enough to put into IKEA bags! ![]() This post has been edited by etigge: Mar 10 2014, 10:34 AM |

haaa.. finally i got posting access to this forum.. it's a validation issue ... no wonder i cant post anything earlier..
just got my ride last week from Rodalink Hartamas Dahon Vigor P9 for myself and Tern Link D8 for my wife the bikes run awesome !!.. By the way, i am just curios with the tires i am running on.. on Dahon website.. it stated that vigor p9 is schwalbe marathon supreme but the bike is on Rotolo rubber... when i called back with Sri Hartamas Branch they said that every country have different spec of tire so in order to lower down the price of Dahon here in Malaysia the tire was downgrade to Rotolo instead Marathon.. is it true? or can it be accidentally swapped? sharing you some shots of the ride ![]() ![]() ![]() looking forward to join group ride if any especially shah alam area or Bukit Jelutong.. thank you This post has been edited by sepat: Mar 10 2014, 11:15 PM |
