The event of KL car free morning is free to begin with. every first sunday of the month beginning Jan 2014.

Meanwhile this KL XTRA car free morning event is a separate event, organised IN CONJUNCTION with KL car fee morning, running on slightly different route, which i believe to join this event a certain amount of fees need to be paid.

Otherwise, if it is FREE, u dont need TnC stating "NO REFUND" when one didnt pay anything, yes?

All pedals, are standard regardless of quick release folding or otherwise.

It was such a bargain! It is actually marked as higher spec-ed than the Speed P8 and yet Kimbell sold it at a price almost similar to it.  Congrats! 

PS/ if you calculate back the added components or better ones, it's worth more than that.

What is your preferable choices for front light?
Over 500 lumen or below?
Some suggested if too high, it will blindes other road user.
Some suggested use mini torclight with bracket. Way cheaper than branded bike light

yeah i read that before. since i have not registered last year, i wonder if we can go in ghost ride or not ;p

aiyah, OCBC ride also same statement what... still i see plenty of riders without official jersey, and hell, even without bib numbers (ghost lor...)

hey all

finally got myself a Boardwalk D8 too a couple of weeks ago... a good ride, though looking at a few upgrades to improve comfort/ergonomics:
- saddle to a comfier one
- the handlebar is slightly too close to the saddle to my liking.. looking to get one of those litepro handlebar stems to push the the handlebar in front a bit
- probably switch to bigger tyres (Schwalbe BA maybe?). lot of bumps and hardened concrete on the roads in my area
- to change the grips. however as the Boardwalk comes with a twist shifter, looks like i have to change that first.. is it possible to use another brand 8-speed shifter (e.g. shimano) to go with the Neos RD?

longer-term upgrades would probably be to increase the gears to at least 16 speeds.. struggling with 1st gear up hills, and 8th gear is not fast enough going downhill.. but as that might be costly, i may as just save up for a better bike in the future
