Imduno about others but i only lube when i sees the chain is dry. And qith my current riding pattern, it would be quite some time between lubing.

I forgot to mention that i have tested a VOLCANO Folding bike, 21  speed bike at Taman Melawati yesterday which was for Rm850.00,but since i never heard of VOLCANO bike before , i walked away , but i am still open to opinions, if anyone cares to share his/her experience on this.
many say the UGO seems better , i may spend slightly more to get a better  folding bike as i believe its money well invested , but i need experienced forum members help here in what may be a better bike and where i can get it at..my budget is 1.5K

LOL.. that was what i did when i rode my LeRun Mounti to school in the early 90s. much better effect compared to a bell!

Want to buy a foldable bike - checked out rodalink and they had dahon, tern and lerun. they handed me a tern brochure and the bike's all look the same - but the price seems a bit expensive for dahon and tern.

I did an online research and realised there are even more brands - lerun, trinx, giant, ori, hasa, birdy, java, doppleganger, volcano - how do I pick?!

- The person riding won't be very tall - around 5 feet and a female
- just starting out and wants to ride for recreation and exercise but wants to explore more things
- wants the bike to be portable and to fit in the boot of her myvi
- obviously the most affordable but then it depends - if it rides well, then the person will want to ride more and if it doesn't ride as well, then they will ride it less
- riding on roads and maybe slight terrain
- easy to fold
- light
- portable - may want to take it on travels

How do I pick? What do you suggest?
