newer chipset comes with less storage, same price.

better or not, depends on how u use the features.

AOTG works on the Minix Neo U1.. No problems.

I paid total of rm279 for the Beelink miniMXIII, Mele F10 Deluxe and 3 units of 2in1 OTG/USB micro SD card reader...

Otherwise I would be using my rpi to be android TV

The Nvidia Shield TV & latest Xiaomi Mi Box... To name a few.

Based off the images on the website, it definitely doesn't look like a full MIUI ROM. I don't expect Xiaomi to keep it stock either.

Hey guys. I have a minix u1. But having problem to update those Chinese application for drama (I.e. vst). I have turned on the install from unknown source. But still not working. Any idea?

Typically, Minix ships their boxes as unrooted.. It's up to the individual to root or not.. Mine isn't (Not yet).. So there's no root access for the AOTG app to detect.

Need more info.. What do you mean by "not working"? Tried installing a valid apk file and installation failed? Etc..?

for vst or better known as cibn-vst, check yr version.

most current one is 3.1.9.

note: sometimes, new versions of some china apps may not allow mouse to work for certain functions, need to use remote control.

Hello voncrane, I tried to update from the application prompt (whenever the box boot up and launches the app). Also, I tried to install others TV app from sofa market also not allow me to download . Is the app file the only option? Coz I recall that I used to be able to download or update those app directly. Not sure if they recently change the "rule".

I was trying to install from update prompt and sofa market. Yeah, mine should be old version. When ever I power up the box. The update prompt will come out, and I tried to click the install, but it always come back after I rebooted the box. Guess the update has failed. And I tried to install app from sofa market also not working

try using REMOTE control, not mouse.

shafa can be dodgy.

i prefer to use apk's from direct sources.

all china apps are working fine for me, incl vst, cibn, youku, buding, hdp, tvplus2.0, boxer.

i am using himedia but i am quite sure there is no diff with minix for those apps.
