But why GP04 in the so-called Reborn line? A normal MG ver is very much welcomed, in my opinion....

QUOTE(onnylam @ May 14 2014, 11:50 PM) Probably the same reason for Nightingale and Gundam Mk.III: Bandai can't justify paying for MG engineering for kits that not many people will desire to buy. I think this line is going to see a lot of kits that a few hardcore fans want (like TV Wing kits for example), but Bandai can't justify putting in MG form. |

QUOTE(onnylam @ May 15 2014, 10:20 AM) Mainstream fan dun even know about it. Ppl hu watch 0083 may even miss it. It shares the same name as another suits which may confuse the heck out of mainstream fans. 0083 is old and young fans wont bother with it, heck old hardcore UC fans shun 0083 for its completely out of whack plotlines and loopholes it create for the UC timeline. The only good thing 0083 has is animation. In such circumstances, investing time and money in r&d a MG of a kit that is not well known, on a series that is old and borderline fanfiction is a big investment risk, not worth the trouble. |

Then hopefully if response is good, they might put out actual MGs.. maybe this is their line to test the waters.. some realky quick MSV releases to appease fans and test the market demand for such kits |

and it's not impossible to dream of a 1/100 Deep Striker now, right? |

QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ May 15 2014, 10:43 AM) Nonsense. The Hi-Nu ver. ka looks excellent. I really applaud Katoki for staying true to Hi-Nu's original design as opposed to his traditional aesthetics for mobile suits. I disagree.. katoki, for me, was one who always made the most of the mobile suit's design while maintaining some of its original aesthetics.. ver ka always had that added touch of detail and engineering i always found to be quite pleasingI'd much rather have a ver ka that really creates an impressive silhouette for the hi nu, much like nu and sazabu ver ka, rather than to have a hi nu that looks only slightly better than the original hi nu.. to me it only evokes the RD hi nu, not very ver ka at all |

I really applaud Katoki for staying true to Hi-Nu's original design as opposed to his traditional aesthetics for mobile suits. Hi-Nu is the successor to Nu. so I thought Ver.Ka Hi-Nu should be derived from Ver.Ka Nu. But they looks so different from each other, seem not right to me... Noticed that the concept design in the teaser drawing looks more Ver.Ka feel than the display model. wonder why? This post has been edited by Godevil: May 15 2014, 11:07 AM |

That was just a fanart. As for Hi-Nu, it may be the successor, but it doesn't share much with the actual Nu. Hi-Nu is actually 2 meters shorter than the Nu, and it has always been depicted as being bulkier than the Nu.See that the Concept Image in the teaser drawing looks more Ver.Ka feel than the display model. wonder why? not actual kit? |

in my opinion, it's a plus that the Hi-Nu is a whole different design than the Nu Ver Ka
if it was derived from Nu Ver Ka design then it would be Bandai milking Nu Ver Ka's frame and slapping on a different backpack |
