in my opinion, it's a plus that the Hi-Nu is a whole different design than the Nu Ver Ka
if it was derived from Nu Ver Ka design then it would be Bandai milking Nu Ver Ka's frame and slapping on a different backpack sleep.gif
*
Then what will u say if they milk the 2002 frame? brows.gif

Sometimes simple is good.

Complexity means many individual parts, it'll be heavy, cumbersome, too much moving parts depending upon 1 another, which equates to instability. For small/regular MG its fine but the bigger it gets these problems get compounded. Just look at Sazabi, very complex, very beautiful to look at but its almost impossible to pose with. Sure complexity looks good but it sacrifices functionality. I'll take functionality any day.

Gyan Vulcan is a combination of new part with the old kit.
Need to find that old kit which i think will be hard.. and harder once the add on part is released..
But i remember the articulation is quite bad for this old kit... Right? Dalong time

Hi-Nu is the successor to Nu. so I thought Ver.Ka Hi-Nu should be derived from Ver.Ka Nu. But they looks so different from each other, seem not right to me...  wink.gif

Noticed that the concept design in the teaser drawing looks more Ver.Ka feel than the display model. wonder why?
*
Hi-Nu technically is not a successor to Nu, but more like Wing Zero TV (Plane) and Wing Zero Custom EW (Angel). Catch my drift?

OMG !

Need to prepare another few months camp at home, no social no nothing to complete this. Imagine how much effort we need to waste/ spend on the shading effect on each pieces of this kit !?!?!?

You know damn well that's not what I meant. Besides the fact, tanks and Warships aren't bipedal machines that are designed to mimic human movement. When I buy a modern Gundam model kit, I expect great articulation(at least as much as the MS design will allow for). Bandai making a new line of 1/100 model kits, only for them to be statues would be going backwards in progress.
*
yes, exactly my word, I dont care less about the articulation but at least make it worth given we have great technology nowadays, the HG All New Project and RG for example

but still your word still smell insulting, you know some mobile suit design is brick by default? Nightingale is just the beginning but its got fanbase so it definitely get sold well

we may even see more in future the unpopular mobile suit that have bizarre design that it not yet in model kit form
I would love to have Xamel and any mobile suit from AoZ given some of them is like statue
but hey scale model kit is not suppose to be play like a toys

I own the HGUC Gyan
it is very bad kit, the hip joint very loose cant stand properly, if you dont mind to spend 800yen on outdated kit then go for it

it is unfair Gouf R35 get new mold but not Gyan Vulcan

Well, f*** me. Gundam.my decided to use Abx instead of Poslaju as advertised. Tracking shows it as delivered signed by "CO-STAMP" (which i haven't receive), and upon googling the courier company I expect the worst liao; turns out to be garbage courier. Gonna give them a call tomorrow and see if can pick up on my own vmad.gif
