Wing Zero TV shouldn't be doing that angel pose, where's the trademark spinning twin buster rifle attack pose?  whistling.gif

TV Wing Zero can do whatever pose it f***ing wants to. Who's going to stop him? wink.gif

It's something I should have done the second I finished MG Proto Zero:

...and before anyone says it, I realized the error after I took the picture and now have Epyon's wings fully deployed.

so quiet this thread on weekends....everyone is busy building their gunpla i guess.

I'm basically out of Gunpla. I've still got project Wing Raiser Zero coming in the mail, so i've got a bit of time to relax from Gunpla before I attempt a potentially complicated custom. In the meantime, here's my old PG GP01 in a new pose because why not:

I can easily see Zaku Amazing, Wing Fenice, X Maoh, and Exia DM getting the MG treatment. Currently Bandai is occupied with episode 7 of Unicorn and all the model kits that will come from that, so GBF is getting the backburner for the moment.

Everyone freaking out about RG Exia's GN Sword blades can calm down. The sample kit YellowSubmarine Shop was given was an early review copy, and Bandai hadn't added the chrome to the blades yet.

This is the best pose I can manage...

The problem with Sazabi is you can't really get it in a dynamic pose. Even if you got it airborne, its bulk makes it hard to pose. Of course, there's also the issue with even getting it airborne since you'd need a PG action base to support its weight.

I know it's not much to look at yet, but I figured I would advise everyone that Project Wing Raiser Zero has officially begun:

Step one: Super gluing Wing Zero's V-fin onto 00's head. Not the easiest thing to do with 1/144 scale kits, but I got it on straight so it's a victory.

Progress on Project Wing Raiser Zero. My personal Gundam is coming together quite nicely.

Waiting on the finished product before i say anything more, but right now i'm questioning the choice of the 00 body.. personally i think wing's torso offers more to work with.. but maybe it comes together better as a finished product.. so i'll be waiting laugh.gif
*
The main reason for using 00's torso is because I intend to use Wing Zero's shoulders, and I want it to look more like a proper fusion of the two, not just Wing Zero with a couple of 00 parts. What I have in my head now is:

- 00's head(with Wing Zero's V-fin)
- 00 torso
- Zero's shoulders
- Zero's arms
- 00's waist (will paint the back skirt blue to mimic Zero's backskirt)
- Zero's legs
- 00's Raiser side binders acting as Zero's thruster pods
- Zero's shield
- 00's GN Sword III

And finally, I intend to "merge" the GN Sword II's and the Twin Buster Rifles, but that'll be a task I worry about after getting the main body done.

Here is an update on Wing Raiser Zero.

The shoulders look almost comically huge on 00's torso, but I like the look - gives it a super robot look. I also decided to paint part of Zero's legs blue to mimic 00's Seven Sword/G legs.

if you use the leg to thigh connector like on Unicorn/sazabi... the ball one... it would look better...
*
That would involve buying another kit, which i'm not willing to do just for a pair of hip connectors which may not even work with Wing Zero's legs. And before you ask, 00's hip connectors also don't work.

Besides, my model kits are rarely if ever posed in a stock still position. Once I get him airborne and get his legs/knees moved around the gap will be far less noticeable.

So, after spending days trying to figure out how I would attach 0 Raiser's side binder to Wing Zero's backpack, the solution becomes super simple and makes me feel like an idiot for not thinking of it sooner.

All I had to do was shave down the balljoint, and the swing arm plugs right into the polycap in the side binder. What I thought would be the hardest part to combine turned out to be the easiest.

EDIT:

Rejoice people, I fixed his hips:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

It involved cutting up some parts and using superglue on others, but now Wing Raiser Zero has fully functional hip joints that look better.

The GN Sword IIs aren't equipped to his sideskirts yet, but his pose is finalized. Overall, i'm happy with the end result. My personal Gundam has finally been made.

I think it will be same as NG, but more detail on the armor, for people that couldnt care kess about the innerframe.
*
When I think of "High Detail Appearance" and "Sophisticated Parts Composition", a NG is not what comes to mind. If anything, it sounds more like Nu/Sazabi ver. ka type kits.
