hi, anybody know how much windshield replacement cost for 2013 Focus S+? i saw some small crack on my windshield yesterday. I have windshield coverage in my insurance but not sure if it is enough or i should increase the coverage first and replace later.
*
I was quoted RM 3,300 when I asked for my car. It’s better for you to just fill the crack first at any windshield shop and increase your coverage to replace upon your next insurance renewal.

Price quoted by Dr.Cermin.

So I went ahead and changed my wheels anyway. Found a good used set, original 18” Italians.

thanks! that is the plan actually. Dr Cermin said they do not have stock for 2013 Focus S+ windshield and not sure when will they restock. They said the cost would be about RM 4,000. Dr Cermin said the crack on my windshield should be left as it is now, no need to fill as it might make it worse.

I went to Dr Cermin in Subang. They have the aftermarket windshield from China, which cost about Rm2k iirc, but no stock for original Ford windshield. I'll check with Taman Melawati once I renew my insurance this April.

Hi all, i've intermittent battery drained out problem on my ford focus mk3 (2012) since last year. The problem started last year i have to do jump start every morning after the car parked overnight. the problem resolved after Ford authorised dealer detected the issue and do reprogramming, and replace one new battery. Unfortunately, after 6 months driving without any issue, lately the car battery drained out again after parked overnight. Get back to same Ford authorised dealer, and was told TPM failure, and need to replace with RM4k+ charges. I'm currently curious whether it's worth to change at Ford authorised dealer, or any outside workshop can solve this issue? i'm concerned TPM might not be the real issue, and it will hunt me again in later months. Wonder anyone face this issue before, or get the TPM replaced at what cost? Thanks.

I presume it is TCM failure, not TPM? If it is TCM, I was informed that there is a 10-year warranty for TCM failure for Ford Focus? Why there is a charge of RM4k+ for it?

OK already send to SC in johore. They said will takes 2 weeks for the parts to arrive. They will replace all 4 latches. Wow luckily I just send my daughter to school when the door open while driving. This is so dangerous especially if you have kids at the back. Ford Malaysia should call a recall for Focus too.

Anyone has replaced the mk3 projector light to LED type?
My car headlight reflector bowl is burned thus the lights are very dim.

Apparently WRC in Subang can retrofit with a LED type and asking price is RM1300.. Is that a good deal?
Are there any other place to do this?

do you manage to solved your battery issue

Happened to me 3 months after I collect my car in 2012
Towed car back to Ford PJ, replace the battery for free, I googling around its a famous problem outside Malaysia, and that second battery lasted until 2018
Google 2012 Ford Focus parasitic battery drain

I found out that my aircon & dashboard LED lights didn't auto off after I closed and lock the door,, should be OFF after few seconds we lock our car
become a habit of mine until today even after selling my FoFo, to check all my internal car lights
that dashboard lights if its ON, very difficult to notice especially during day, and this will definitely draining your battery over time
