anyone else can provide some advise here?
leave it to next year filing obviously won't solve the issue since i will face the same issue next year, i.e.,  tax filing fprm do not have any section for us to fill in to claim back the outstanding money from tax dept.

You have to give LHDN a call or email them. Tell them you have a credit balance and they will bank in to your registered bank account. I did that once.

1. which kind of donation is valid, eg: orphanage, kanak-kanak istimewa, rumah orang tua.

2. which column to fill in, keep receipt for 7years ??

was filling up my income tax, and think think very dulan.

with the current standard of living + 6% GST, why the income tax no revise a proper deduction to reduce citizen burden ?

how do we make noise ? protest ?

from my 2cent, i feel that :

1. tanggungan anak pertama RM1000
- RM1000 / 12 = RM83.30/ month ( can survive ? )
- for me really ridiculous, if you son eat nasi goreng kampong rm4 x 2 ( pagi & malam ) x 30hari = RM240 already, not even mention education, medical, milk powder, etc
- is the government discourage the citizen to bela anak ? vmad.gif

2. jalur lebar ( TM, unifi, broadband )
- no more already
- bukankah kerajaan ingin rakyat jadi maju dan kaya dengan ilmu teknologi maklumat ?
- at very basic gateway to learn and access also no deduction anymore
- efiling also kena pakai internet ma vmad.gif

3. Handphone / mobilephone / smartphone / tablet
- this is a very basic necessity for every individual regardless poor or rich
- at least a RM1000 quota also i think it's quite reasonable
- kita kena kejar teknologi maklumat ma vmad.gif

4. kenderaan motorcar / transport
- at least a RM2000 for either installment or service la
- you naik LRT dan rapid bus pergi kerja (LRT - RM3 + rapid bus RM2) x 2 pergi-balik x 24hari/bulan x 12 bulan = RM2,880 already vmad.gif

is my request very unreasonable ?

it seems like we're not taken care at ALL vmad.gif

1. Please check if the organization that you wanted to donate for tax relief purpose is aproved by checking it against the database at http://www.hasil.gov.my/goindex.php?kump=2...1&unit=8&sequ=1

2. Under Pendapatan Berkanun and Jumlah Pendapatan, put your amount at "TOLAK : Jumlah Derma Dan Hadiah Yang Diluluskan" row

Confirm, can go google yourself and check.

But in response to previous poster, you think government only tax your 'extra' income ah? Every thing also want deduct this deduct that. Taxation is necessary for government to function, our roads and schools money come from thin air?

The problem is not the tax, our tax is quite good already (of course need reform, for example capital gains tax and changing the limits). The problem is government spending. That one you are free to go curse every idiot wasting our money.

Kinda agree here. If the money spent wisely,we could have better public transportations and commodities.

I went to Seoul, and I wish our public transport and roads are like that. Hahaha. I know its not easy, but one can hope for better country.

Although, as a first timer paying tax, terkejut a bit lah cuz not prepared. Hahahaah.
