I am neither for nor against either one. I want to hear all arguments and decide for myself Sometimes people get too enthusiastic and spiral into a not-so-productive argument. Just nudge-nudge a bit lah. No need to debate doesn't imply shut up. That is my opinion only. Free and open to choose if you want to follow or not. OK. I will stop myself here too. |

Normally the built-in oven uses 13 A or 15 A plug? Is it safe to use 13 A plug if 15 A is required?

QUOTE(Fazab @ Jun 11 2014, 09:44 AM) My wife went and 6c6c all hoods, then finally bought the GCG90201 from Zheilwane. alternative model is HD1B, same 3.8kW as GCG90201 but equipped with 5 nozzle drive burner. so i wonder is this better than GCG90201 or still the GCG90201 wins over HD1B and GAG86210 (debated pot size issue, what about the flame performance? 4.85kW vs 3.8kW)Reasons : 1. big area - can put any size wok. no need 3rd burner. Where got so many hands- lah. 2. don't like square burner design. don't like stainless steel plating - char and dirty easily No need to debate. To each his preference. I somehow miss the small 3rd burner. Where am I gonna cook my little pot of maggi + egg now. less cooking users, buy 3.8kW (never know what wok-hei is, just buy to fill the cooktop) real cooker, buy 4.85kW (waste gas? but short cooking time though) i suggest anyone who can create a video comparing rinnai hob vs fotile hob. seeing is believe. dont have to be overselling or whatsoever on particular brand or model. |

And they are the ones who rule the kitchen. Can do all my cooking, easy to clean, I like the design --> buy.... ![]() Well i posted the comparison video of Fotile GCG hob 3.8kW Vs another brand with 4.5kW and proven the flame of GCG 90301 is stronger as per video. Getting a hob is not just strong flame power, u need to consider other factors as mentioned earlier, why most of my customers and my family like GCG 90301 bcoz it is a well balanced hob. So, to decide which hob suits you best, jus drop by our showroom to compare and i will ask u a few questions to help you out in choosing what is right for you. I actually have a video of Fotile 5 nozzle burners and another brand for comparison with GCG burners, wont post online as the brand was accidentally recorded and was advised not to advertise, so for those who wanna have a check, jus request for it when u drop by my showroom » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by zheilwane: Jun 12 2014, 11:57 PM |

I am using GCG 90301 for about 1 year, so far very satisfied with the performance. And i noticed it save more gas too. Last time every 2 months we have to change the gas tank, now only change it once every 3-4 months.

![]() Bought a Rubine Hood from Builders Hardware [ model : Rosemary , suction power 1350m3/hr or 1200 as stated in the manual ( i didnt read it in detail)]. I am yet to move in so i have no way to comment on the long term performance; anyhow i tested the hood randomly with paper , glove , plastic and etc. The suction power is really not bad. I guess it is quite a good buy. Since it is an OEM, it is cheaper as compared to fotile , bosch or rinnai. I hope it will last long enough , finger crossed I am satisfied with the after-sale service from Builders Harware , My hood was previously not working due to incomplete installation ( problem from my kitchen cabinet guy). I contacted BH and they forwarded my request to Rubine. Problem was solved after Rubine sent a technician to my place for service. The price .... i bought a hood , a sink and a tap. I didn't get the package so my price is at the higher side For those who wanan get kitchen hardware , seriously hv to consider the package, seems to be a lot cheaper then my " A la carte" way of purchase. |

Buying Fortile from Zean seem like an excitement affair ! Bla bla bla excitement comes to end until installation time.
Friday first appointment for installation. Late. With excuse can't find the condo is very common and partly my condo guards blocked them. Ok. Fine. So the installer access my wet kitchen. Skips details, it decided to cut through my glass window. Let them take down my window and we made new appointment for installation on Monday 2pm. Why I'm so bloody free writing here now? Shouldn't suppose I'm monitoring the installer to install hood? I can't get the installer !!! Phone call went into voice mail! Apa apa excitement gone! Moreover I took half day leave just for this!!! Called back to Builder Hardware let them chase the installer! It's 2:42pm now. I have a bad feel my half day leave will be wasted flows into drain! Sekian my 2cent frustration expression! |

Great! Now im facing #MH370 on the BH sub-con installer! If I failed to reach the installer, what’s more BH can assist me? They also facing the same #MH370 as me!
16/6/14 – Monday 11:19AM - Called #BHSubConInstaller trying to confirm / reminds installer on the 2pm installation but nobody answer my call. 2:00pm – I reached my place & I smsed #BHSubConInstaller telling him I’m at my place waiting. 2:12pm – no show of #BHSubConInstaller nor I get any calls. 2:12pm – keep calling #BHSubConInstaller but went into voice mail. 2:18pm – called #BHSubConInstaller but went into voice mail again. 2:21pm – called #BHSubConInstaller but went into voice mail again. 2:22pm – I notified Control Tower (BH) on the missing #BHSubConInstaller! Time is running out for me! My last contact with #BHSubConInstaller was on Friday yesterday (16/6/2014. 2pm). Notified control tower (BH) at 2:22pm on the missing #BHSubconInstaller since yesterday! Interesting development which I need to pressure BH to get my hood installed before my “moving in house ceremony” on 21 June! Yesterday evening, kena lectured kaw kaw by my home minister aka finance minister aka PM aka mum. Plus I purposely took leave for this installation! Very negative images impacted on me on #BHSubConInstaller As at updates just now (9:26am), Control tower still failed to get in touch with #BHSubConInstaller ! While im typing the "long gas" comment, the #BHSubConInstaller called! Apologized and said his phone missing yesterday. Now new appointment being arranged. #PrayForBHSubConinstaller will come on time and complete the installation! end. |

They also facing the same #MH370 as me! Sub con, even Main con all cannot give 100% trust la, must have backup plan, and put in buffer. If you need your house ready by May, tell them you need it by March. If you move in on 21st, tell them you move in 10th even to the seller be it BH or someone else. No doubt BH give you ASSURANCE. Alternative DIY and install your own, save money and gain experience like I do.
