QUOTE(Fazab @ Jun 11 2014, 09:44 AM) My wife went and 6c6c all hoods, then finally bought the GCG90201 from Zheilwane. alternative model is HD1B, same 3.8kW as GCG90201 but equipped with 5 nozzle drive burner. so i wonder is this better than GCG90201 or still the GCG90201 wins over HD1B and GAG86210 (debated pot size issue, what about the flame performance? 4.85kW vs 3.8kW)Reasons : 1. big area - can put any size wok. no need 3rd burner. Where got so many hands- lah. 2. don't like square burner design. don't like stainless steel plating - char and dirty easily No need to debate. To each his preference. I somehow miss the small 3rd burner. Where am I gonna cook my little pot of maggi + egg now. less cooking users, buy 3.8kW (never know what wok-hei is, just buy to fill the cooktop) real cooker, buy 4.85kW (waste gas? but short cooking time though) i suggest anyone who can create a video comparing rinnai hob vs fotile hob. seeing is believe. dont have to be overselling or whatsoever on particular brand or model. |

QUOTE(LoveMeNot @ Sep 30 2014, 05:11 PM) Hi all, It is really up to your individual preference. Not too sure if this question has been asked before: 1. How do you guys decide whether to go for electric or gas stove? Thanks! Electric hob : induction hob vs ceramic hob. U need to understand how the system works. If your condo is equipped with natural gas, then you mostly will choose electric hob as majority of the gas hob can't feed natural gas besides Rinnai. you can visit our shop to understand on Electrolux/ Rinnai/ Fotile / Rubine / Panasonic electric hob. We have promotion on kitchen appliances. We have below market price for fotile/Rubine set with the purchase of certain mattresses. We dare you to compare the price. |

QUOTE(vyruzj @ Feb 28 2016, 11:41 AM) Hi zheilwane, Rinnai RB-2MYG is different class from fotile GCG90201 and rubine RGH-ASSALTO2B-BL.I am looking for a 2 burner glass hob. Wondering how powerful the flame for GCG90201/90301 as its only 3.8kW? What kind of cooking can or can't be achieve? Compared to Rubine RGH-ASSALTO2B-BL (5.0kW) which is a better buy as u are selling both? Would a 5.3kW burner will be an overkill like Rinnai RB-2MYG? BTW those i specified above are > 800mm wide as i like more space between burners and mostly dark in color... Previously i am using Aerogaz, but i can't find the power of the burners and was disappointed by the time that water gets boiled and the wok is hot enuff to deep fry a fish... to appreciate the flame quality, trust Rinnai. |

having a higher kw hob, the users have the flame setting option to cater the cooking behaviour.
having a somewhat not high kw hob, the users only have the kw limit of cooking. having a high kw hob doesn't mean that every time cooking is set at maximum power. |

QUOTE(sonerin @ Jun 19 2016, 11:29 AM) One thing I just learn that cooking hob that require electricity. I bought a Bosch cooking job and it has to be connected to a power socket on the wall. Without it the hob won't work. Meaning without electricity there is no flame part of made in italy gas hob still required electricity ignition.the shop normally will tell you before the purchase. |

QUOTE(dayalan86 @ Jul 9 2016, 09:08 AM) We have been using the Rinnai Innerflame since it was introduced somewhere around end of 2009 or early 2010. The spills can be contained within the inner cup, much easier to maintain as there is no burner ring to be washed or cleaned. innerflame is a good design hob but here is fotile thread. so, it lacks of other good hobs information.Serviced once, due to an ant got burnt and stuck to the gas nozzle, hence the flame became smaller on the left burner. An additional benefit of inner flame is that it does not heat up the surrounding as much as a normal hob, since most of the flame is contained and directed towards the pot / pan. It makes cooking more comfortable. |

QUOTE(imoogi99 @ Jul 9 2016, 11:25 PM) Hello Zheilwane, what is the difference between GCG90301 and GAG86210? From the model number can I say the GAG is the older model as compare to GCG? From fotile website, just the 2 burner hob, there's several model in there....so how do we choose the good one? GDG is the latest model.GAG is the ongoing model. Official website provides accurate info. Browse thru fotile e-catalog for the newest packages. |
