That wire child can reach and can wait to see your new setup for the new home. Hopefully all symmetrical.

Thanks bro. All are new equipment including the TV. Really big sonic as well as video improvements even though the cost of this new setup is not much bigger than before. Really loving the sound from the LS50, and perfectly match the SB13-Ultra. Couldn't ask for more at this price.

The cable will be replaced in a couple of days, longer so that I can route it behind the furniture and try to make it less visible. Furthermore, as all the KEF LS50 speakers don't come with a grill, I cover all of the with heavy sheets of black cloth big enough to reach the floor, I take them off only when I'm listening. I'll update the pics with the cloths on later. New home will be in a year or two though.

ChiNO,

So I take it size is the deciding factor?  Ie, a small footprint?  From my experience in AV, in order to get any 'real' output below 30hz, the bigger the better.    And multiples are better as well for bass smoothing.
*
Yes, size is very important. =) In this case, the more compact the better. Perhaps, sometime in the near future I can have a dedicated HT room with ample space, but at the moment, the current living room has double duty as the auditioning room, home theatre, and general entertainment.

Hi all, so today I've bought Pioneer HTS HTZ-111DVD 5.1 Home Theater, some old NOS unit.. I found out that some of the pin (what we call it?) like 3 (1 center + 2 speaker) out of 6 behind the player is not working.. the shop is quite far, so is there any other way to fix it? Cable and speaker tested ok..

I assume 'pin' means spkr output from your amp section - further assumption is tat it is spring clips

If indeed there is no current outputting from said channels - could mean a dead amp or a wire has bust loose inside - whichever, I dont u can d-i-y a fix..

Well I just sent the unit for a refund.. and I get all my money back, if I can just DIY, I would go again and pay it once again.. coz it's awesome..

I m no d-i-y person, my idea of a blown lite is to change de bulb. If it still dont work, then I m at a loss wat to do nxt..
Bck to ur Htib - glad tat u got a refund.. I assume tat u got a gud deal - since u dont mind buyin it bck if u happen to figure a fix - but hvng current at de output section but still cant power a different spkr makes me tink tat de whole output section for tat channel is buggered - I guess if u are handy wif a soldering iron - can open it out and resolder bck or get a whole new sprng clip n solder tat in .. but if its me, I ll just look for a better unit..less headache

I just got a better option, LG DH6320H for additional RM160.. also a clearance unit.. still review is great as I read on internet.. I might end up getting that unit if I found no solution for the Pioneer HTZ.. coz I got no equipment for solder, getting 1 just to fix only 1 electrical unit isn't cost effective neither.. Thanks for your help.. really appreciate that..

Guys can a room size of 12 feet by 10 feet set up a home theater system. I'm thinking of getting a LCD projector n a home theater system to have a surround sound system.
