QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 1 2014, 08:45 PM) ya, i think 9th gen, still not familiar with corolla's generation number... i already changed lower arm for both sides, absorber mounting both sides, and absorbers both sides, still gave me same feeling, weird... maybe need to ask another friend driving same car for test drive for comparison. Is your tire overinflated? When i received my 2014 altis i had similar feeling, steering is floaty and 'too sensitive ', slight unevenness in the road can change steering. I later discovered my tires were over inflated to 320 kpa(!!). Once i reduced it to the recommended pressure the floaty sensation is gone On a related note, any new altis owners encounter having your car delivered to you with over inflated tire pressure? Mine is a 2.0 V. Car was delivered to me with tires at 320 kpa. The max pressure limit on the sidewall of the tires are stated at 340 kpa, but the recommended tire pressure indicated on the driver side door entrance is at 220 kpa. I drove like this for 2 weeks and only after consulting my friends about the floaty/over sensitive steering, then i realised that the tires were over inflated. Just wondering if its standard operating procedure for new cars to be delivered at such high tire pressures This post has been edited by exyne: Oct 2 2014, 09:30 AM

Same with my 1.8 back tyres are over inflated, but I check the tyres same day I received my car.

QUOTE(newpool @ Sep 29 2014, 04:30 PM) U can decide by considering if the new specs/items worth that 5k. Or will u let go those items n save 5k? But the SA was right. Almost yr end now. U book this mth or next makes no diff. Y not jus wait n see. At least u wont regret making wrong decision. Sa will give u 3k discount is comfirm from their pocket..2k is merdeka promo oni.. So if next 1.8e got push start and your 2k merdeka promo is gone ,it is worth it..as now cars r oni have push start in the higher end models. Dont tell me u wanna spend 114k for 10 years back technology and save the 2k?

Are you 1.6 or 1.8 because tyre both of this is different. Why dont you go to SC and service your power steering. After i done this my steering feel sharp and less vibrating when go to uneven road.

QUOTE(vk9545 @ Oct 8 2014, 09:35 AM) Coating = you pay wax money upfront. Personally , I prefer to go to wash & wax. Wax everytime cost RM59 , with RM1.4K .... you count lo how many times you can wax. Let say 1 year wax 4 times = RM260. if you were to spend Rm1.4K , then 5 years ++ for the wax cost. Just my personal opinion la

Hi all I'm very happy with the car. But lately I'm hearing some weird noises from inside of the radio. I pinpoint it to the DVD player of my car. The screen is making the squeaking sound when on uneven roads. I try pushing the screen a bit and the sound stops if Iet go of the screen the sound is back. Anyone having this problem? Any solution for this guys? And also I didn't get the service booklet? Doesn't the altis cakes with a service booklet? Please help.
