New Metallic Grey 2.0V owner clocking in here. Got my ride on Friday, 10/10. With aerokit. Loving it so far but my only gripe is because mine comes with the 215/45/17 series Michelin tyres, gotta get used to the slightly harder steering but in terms of stability, it's awesome. And for those who want the DVD player to work while driving, the process is super simple. You just have to disconnect 2 wires at the back of the player.  :hyper

1.8G --> + push start + auto headlight + semi leather seats - 200cc - roadtax = 3.1k LESS, which sound like a better deal.   the -200cc power wouldn't be much miss.

Anyway since they are reviewing their lineup, I rather UMWT includes ESC / more airbag / free services / longer warranty etc than those gadgets. Add them into 1.8G, price it 125k same with Sylphy VL would kill it effectively. 125k also have wider gap vs 1.8E... another poor marketing strategy ??
The price list include auto headlight for 1.8E but spec sheet not... typo?

i mostly take 1.8E, G accesories no a need for me.. now in dilemma either white pearl or metallic silver

luckily i choose 2.0V with additional safety kits. yes i agree 2.0G and 1.8E will rage.. so many things add up for 1.8G... keyless entry and leather seat the major add up haha..

My car there isn't any rattaling anywhere else other then the radio touch screen? I think the screen tilt mechanism is kinda loose or something. What should I do? Will the sc fix this issues?

2014 1.8G doesn't have VSC.....so frustrated

if compare to previous Toyota Altis 1.8G year 2007 with VSC, TC, 2 Airbags & Auto Headlight function...

Coz I heard 1.8 E or 1.8 G no discount after yesterday announcement by Toyota. But year end, many company cars throw offer and discount...

no discount then no point buying now rite might as well buy it next year.. then car will be 2015 model instead of 2014.

i plan to..now hold first after see the spec.

compare to most car brands with same segment, this model altis has da most expensive in pricing although it has da 'T' symbol in d front bonnet...

i think we buyer need to give it a lesson, meaning slow down their sales then only get a better features with acceptable in pricing...

now economy so bad & yet they still wanna sell in da 1st class pricing, & UMW never ever think of buyer satisfaction but just satisfy themself own pocket... wtf!

True.. UMW has been acting like a King all these years charging premium and using outdated technology with shittier specs than competitors.
It would be good if they could be taught a lesson..
