Hi all, anybody here made complaint regarding roof insulation? Went to SC Senawang, N. Sembilan but Service Advisor said Im the only one complaining..I've made the complaint since my 1st 1k service (3/6/2014). They note in the receipt "for technical team evaluation". Up until now its still pending..Anyone can help?

Secondly, I also made a complaint regarding LED headlight range which I think too short sighted and too low. SA said its toyota standard. There's nothing they can do about it. Plus, the SA said one customer already made the same complaint but they replied the same answer. For your info, during total dark area and lots of cornering, It felt not safe to drive. Experience this during my travel to Kelantan on Lebuhraya Karak. I have to reduce speed to 90km/j or else, its hard to see whats next turn going to be, left/right.. blink.gif Any 2.0V driver also having this issue? Please help if anyone already got this issue solved..

Keep the RM1.8k, soon enough you will have new OS for cars, either Android/iOS.. and the GPS will be obsolete smile.gif

i just got my altis 1.8E a week ago, my problem is when i park my car for few minutes (totally engine shut off) then start the engine and drive for few second, it will coming out a "dak" sound from the front, somewhere around the break and then dak sound never appear again while driving until next time i park my car with engine shut, start the engine and drive for couple second, it will appear again. Today sent my car to Wheelcorp old klang road for 1k service, ask them to check the problem, at the end they told me its normal, in the SA job sheet it printed "ABS accurating sound", the SA even told me they have tried other altis, also same got this "dak" sound.

Wanna know you guy got this kind of sound? If i wish to complaint again, which SC should i go? btw my dashboard got rattling sound also but my 1st priority is to solve the weird dak sound. Toyota reliability really suck, the trunk feel like milo tin whenever i close it, my 12 years old 9th generation Altis much keras than this tin car. rclxub.gif

Anyone with any information regarding the new spec launching ?
I called the SA today and he informed of the 1.8g launching in Nov.
New specs will b fitted in like trc, leather seats, push start etc.. Price in between 1.8e and 2.0g.

The 1.8e should be fitted with push start too.

Im considering if i should wait till the announcement is out from UMW as now nothing is certain. However might risk losing the 5k discount offered now. However SA told that normally year end always got promo to clear off the old models bfor the year ends. He also advised to wait since its alrdy Oct now..

Thoughts?

U can decide by considering if the new specs/items worth that 5k. Or will u let go those items n save 5k? But the SA was right. Almost yr end now. U book this mth or next makes no diff. Y not jus wait n see. At least u wont regret making wrong decision.

Here only discuss new Altis? No 1st gen Altis owner here?
Just got myself an used 1st gen Altis, I found the steering abit hard to control if driving 100km/h and above, like abit of wind/uneven highway road it'll shift direction abit. Anyone know if this is normal? I saw people commenting Altis's floaty handling, is this the meaning?

ya, i think 9th gen, still not familiar with corolla's generation number...
i already changed lower arm for both sides, absorber mounting both sides, and absorbers both sides, still gave me same feeling, weird... maybe need to ask another friend driving same car for test drive for comparison.
