A lot of times, only a compressor component called solenoid valve is spoilt. SC will ask you to change the compressor as the solenoid valve is not a field replaceable part. Outside aircond repair shop can replace this and only costs about RM 350.

Outside aircond also don't want to change only the valve also. Any recommended shop that can do this?

Have an Altis year 2018, doing all great and well.

I have the 2014 Altis. Using for 7 years plus already. No issues apart from alternator problem during the warranty period which was replaced FOC. Till now no major problems. Just wear and tear parts. I follow a strict 9k service routine and always check for wear and tear signs as I have a very reliable mechanic. Did auto oil change at 80k as well. My mileage is now about 95k. Everything functioning well. Mine is 2.0V variant.

Very reliable , done 170K KM milage in 7 years time. Without major part replacement except tear n wear part

Prefer newer cause less issue for repairing.

Just buy and drive no need to do major service or repairing.

get the 2016 2.0v or facelift 1.8. Coz 2016 1.8G do not have TSC only 2.0v. The facelift model 2018 TSC for all variant.
