only worry about the 2nd and 3rd row are not cold enuf... especially when the first row ppl are freezing...

It will be enough for 2nd row and 3rd row too.

What we did is to have the middle vents to blow up to the ceiling which will flow to the 2nd/3rd row. while the side vents I put it straight to blow behind too.

This would settle the front row freezing issue too.

Hope this helps.

Roof rain is in acceptable level better than previous gen. Insulators are added in 2014 Alza.
What you worry better focus on tyre first. My Alza se 10k mileage f***er silverstone M5 130kmh steering shake after rotation and balancing. Get ur self a better set of this noob tyre pls. Thank you.
*
Roof should be better now. Previous version (like mine), I have added sound proof pads and materials. DIY la.

Don't play play with the tyres. Better get it check and you may have uneven tyre wears and maybe 'bloated' tyres.

My stock tyres last me only <6 months which causes steering shakes. During checking, the stocks are weeving left right on the rims, like snakes... change to better ones and lasted me at least 50,000km without complains.

Thanks all!!!.... for the prompt replies....
if your stock tyres give problem less than 6 months from purchase, shouldn't P2 be responsible to change to new set or at least, acknowledge the tyres they supply is below par and should be recalled/changed?.

*i mean if they still look new with not much sign of wear and tear.

Bloating what to do still new...hence I advise those just bought the car change tyre 1st before no resale at all...130kmh is acceptable level if you tried it north south highway dude..140kmh you can feel caution is needed..mrr2 or bumpy highway pls don't try it, car bouncy and easily buang when you bounce in the middle of air.

Understand the pain as what to do if still new. But bloated tyres are considered 'defect' tyres which can 'explode' and it is not worth the valued lifes and also causes damages to your car as well. That may cost more.

Again, just be safe.

I did asked previously and it is under wear and tear woh.. if it is just first 1000km..i think fine.. but 6 month later or mileage is like 10,000km.

maybe someone has managed to claim it.

that's right, new car nowadays doesn't come with auto lock when braking. reason was crap: "autolock prevent the rescuer from opening the door when you meet accident". honestly i don't get the logic of it, if a driver manually lock the door and met an accident, still the door is locked. right?

hi everyone. My car is 2 years old and ready for 40k service.
What services and parts do you guys change when doing 40k service?
I go the center myself and get quote price from perodua.
see picture below. The total cost is around RM600. I think that is too much. I'm planning to go service outside, which one on the list do you think not necessary to change?

is ATF filter change necessary at the mileage of 40k km? i don't have the owners manual with me now so i can't be sure whether it's need to be change as early as 40k km. what is B cleaner? if you wanna make your car reliable, service per the recommended interval, like the brake bleeding. If you feels that your brake fluid colour "looks allright" and no bubbling issue, maybe you can get it replace next year?

B cleaner, is brake cleaner if not mistaken. The perodua staff told me to change ATF filter with the fluid altogether, changing the auto fluid alone will not clean it.

brake cleaner? some sort like brake flush? 1st time i heard brake cleaner. Yes, agree that draining the fluid will not warrant a 100% clean fluid, but i don't think the fluid was so dirty after 40k km.

alza or myvi has about the same maintenance cost..always refer to here.
http://www.perodua.com.my/service/service-package/alza
easier to say, rm200 for minor, rm400 for major..in fact it is actually cheaper a bit than the published price if u go to the p2 dealer..

The last time I checked, dealer is pricier... unless you know inside ppl lor...

Another thing about dealer is, any parts repair or replacements conducted are not traceable on the P2-only centralised database should you decide to check on your car history, especially when it comes to warranty claims... When that happens, P2 ppl will blur sotong when they cannot detect recent changes to your car...

so normally how many k mileage should v change the auto fluid? according to the schedule, perodua will change it every 20k. Since that I service outside after the 3rd service, my alza didn't change the auto fluid at all, skipping the 20k according to the schedule by perodua.
