Hello bros, thinking of buying Alza standard, but it doesnt have ABS. Can we install the ABS in workshop? How much? Thanks ya

new alza facelift comes with abs and ebd as standard across the whole variants according to paultan blog..and i dont think if abs can be installed at outside workshop..

just have a look at the brochure, yup the standard does not come with abs and ebd..btw, the new alza price is really make the myvi looks like an overpriced car..most expensive myvi shouldve been rm50k only max..

Thanks for advice, but I need further information from you, glad if you could answer me...

Do you mean, betamek changed brand new unit for you there right away? How many hours you spent there at their factory?  Need to make appointment first?
*
no need to do appointment if i recall correctly..my problem was the the touchscreen doesnt work..so they tested it 1st..after that they confirmed faulty then they change to another brand new unit..forgot already how many hours..but i would say not more than 3 hours..if u sent to perodua sc to repair the problem, they will remove the HU to sent to betamek also and might take a few weeks..to get it fixed asap, we can also go there..

brake cleaner? some sort like brake flush? 1st time i heard brake cleaner. Yes, agree that draining the fluid will not warrant a 100% clean fluid, but i don't think the fluid was so dirty after 40k km.
*
alza or myvi has about the same maintenance cost..always refer to here.
http://www.perodua.com.my/service/service-package/alza
easier to say, rm200 for minor, rm400 for major..in fact it is actually cheaper a bit than the published price if u go to the p2 dealer..

so normally how many k mileage should v change the auto fluid? according to the schedule, perodua will change it every 20k. Since that I service outside after the 3rd service, my alza didn't change the auto fluid at all, skipping the 20k according to the schedule by perodua.
*
servicing outside is dangerous..some undertree workshop just straight away pour whatever atf as long as it is atf..if im not mistaken the perodua atf is different from toyota atf..i dont whats the different, but if u put wrong atf, then u might kill the gearbox..atf 4, sp iii something like that different..
