4 years + alza..recently bit petrol consuming..reach 10L/100km..what else to notice? so far doest have any big service..

added soundproof and 16 rim that y so consuming? and since 4 years + already..what else need to take k and service?
*
16in rim will make your engine work harder to pick up to speed, unless you are 90% highway driving else 16in rim gonna impact on your FC. If you have wider tyre, lagi makan.

like other bros, said, atf filter, throttle body cleaning, check tyre pressure as well.

Try clean throttle body... Diy can do... A bottle less than rm16

Your 10L/100 is based on city drive.... Which area?

I just travel to kuantan few days ago... Hiway plus town plus coaster road to pekan... I am getting 8.3 when i reached home in puchong.

Before the trip... About 9.3-9.5... Btw... My alza clocking 94k
*
KL city area...going 10L ++ / 100km...just pour one fuel injection cleaner on last oil pump..went to a workshop and the foremen change a so call better gear oil for me..UMW one...100 over bucks..dunno got kena chop or not...

now monitoring the FC again....i guess will still exceed 10L...

next week going up to penang so will notice the FC again on highway drive.....alza not really FC saving even in ori mode all i can say..haha..

oh ya...now getting more noise coming out for a 4years + car...dashboard...some weird sound from the cabin...back to the spare tyre sometimes....

wonder any1 experience rattling sound from a-pillar...i ask my fren who own accessories shop and he open up the pillar cover and show me saying that there is no wire or metal in this part...he guess is dunno what exhaust mounting la or what its come from the engin bay....the rattling sound is kinda annoying when go on some uneven road....sometimes very obvious but sometimes u cant hear it...@@

Your alza auto or manual. If auto alza atf d3-sp around rm60 for 2.2 liter atf change.

Ask your foreman to check front bonnet hood hinge for sound from a pillar and check alza spare tyre holder for sound from back.

Your mileage still low bro, mine not even 3 years now 162k++ km

bro, you can't expect much for a 141Nm engine pulling a 1160kg body. for the ATF, better follow D3-SP, if your foreman give you toyota type IV ATF, then you at risk of damaging the gearbox. As Toyota Type IV is not compliant with Alza GB that uses D3-SP. For sure the gearbox won't kaput immediately but in long term, who knows.

KL city area... 4 years.. about the same as mine alza, just my mileage is higher.

The gearbox oil, i changed 2-3 months ago, using Perodua plus there is a filter too to change. Just that next 2000km, due for next service for engine oil change and spark plugs.

I try DIY whatever i can from time to time, like changing the coolant, air filter, pollen filter, clean throttle body, etc.

Rattling sound from A pillar, there is wires on A-pillar...it is hard to say, have to spend time to find the source of sound as we can't imagine what type of sound so hard to pin point too.... maybe we should do a small TTS... maybe can explore further.

141Nm to pull 1160kg body, you can't expect much bro. only thing can do is using shift hold i.e shift the gear to 2 or 3 to make the engine rpm at higher torque region. switch to D only brings you headache.

Doing another trip to Kuala Terengganu, hope to get the same result.

Instead of buying the spray, i went to my usual mechanic and get them to help me do it for free... hahaha... was very dirty.

for toyo t1r i really don know
sorry i forget to give you the size i am using, ya i am using 195/55/15 it was way better than orginal silverstone 185/55/15 and lucky i have change it early before the tires broken, cz of one of my friend tires crack from the inside two month later i have changed my tires.

mine 2 years finish, for me i will advice not to use bendix maybe it was too hard, some how it make very sharp noise when braking and i have clean the brake pad once ord after around 2 month the sound back again. i was thinking to change to brembo but i have out of some budget so put it on waiting list and also the denso park plug... hehe...

mine have 2 layer sound proof on 4 door but the wind sound came in from the window side..
fully speaker changed to infinity component set also with a pioneer woofer power up with coucar 5 channel amp,
head unit pioneer double din

For the price around rm10/20 more than m5. For economy tire range,I would say yes. This pic after 40k km usage. Still got around 2/3 mm before thread wear indicator

Mine almost two years.
That's y budgeting for Toyo now.
Brembo brake pad is not that expensive afterall.
Might be cheaper than bendix metal king titanium LOL.
I already resolve my ratting soun and wind sound by adding Mohawk 12" woofer
