thanks, i will check mine when i have the chance, or i try to spray water on it continuously using garden hose and see the outcome, i just worried your case is "independent" as the rubber seal might "ngam ngam" defect at that spot (what a coincident!)

The DIY cover a brilliant idea. Just watch out if you using wet battery, the vapor gonna eat up the plastic material.
*
No worry coz I'm using the same material as the original cover that wraps around the battery. But for sure i'll check on it frequently... blush.gif

Didn't use any pressurized hose. I encounter it twice that my car was parking at open carpark under heavy rain. Once I checked after the rain stop I can barely see the water is dripping from that area and the battery top was almost 70% wet since the rubber is only fixed by clips instead of weather seal glue. To all Alzarian please take caution.

I agreed that the water could hardly form a connection in between the terminals but there is possibility could cause fire.
Btw, I had diy a water resistant cover for the battery.

Thanks bro. will do that.

Btw, is there any mechanism or screw that hold the spare tyre in its place? What should i look for to make sure that the mechanism/screw is a complete set and nothing missing. One more thing, Alza spare tyre is at the bottom of the trunk, right? Any easy way for me to give it a look?

Bro .. your few months mileage how many KM ??? hmm.gif

The filter like this due to too dirty, causing air flow stuck and heat. then ... bocor shocking.gif

We know cases like this usually 1 year no clear, or over 10,000KM.

If we drive around KL town sometimes stuck in traffic jam 1 hour but jalan only few KM.. at the same time engine keep on working air flow still going in. So ... KL better clean every 5K KM sweat.gif

1) clean engine compartment, with toothbrush, went petronas at midnight and spray it with air, use cloth wipe all the places i can for few hours, slowly bit by bit.. apply oil to certain nuts, "lotion" some of the plastic parts, etc...

2) took cushion out and clean them all round, remove floor carpet and wow... lots of weird stuff and insects underneath carpet... like a small dump site for insects,... vacuum wipe brush shampoo.... takes forever and it ain't always sunny early of the year.

at the end of the day, i vow never to do it again.. i ain't professional and only one man show. should hv just chill and find something else to do.. don't try it at home !!!
