QUOTE(Kiefer @ Mar 31 2014, 10:34 AM) You further see, there should be 2 places only.. there is indicator that you can adjust UP-DOWN and LEFT-RIGHT for each headlamp. ya, i know how to do it.What you can do is, park you car with headlamp shooting a wall. Put a temporary tape on the wall to know where is your initial angle. Normally, just adjust up down, not too much up as it is going to make a fuss to the incoming driver. After you adjust it both side, go for a quick drive at dark place (so called), then see it if fits. Else come back to same place, park at original space and re-adjust again. ** Test the high beam too, as you may okay with low beam, but hi-beam shooting the sky. :> but i would just like to know if anyone can tell me exactly which screw is for up-down and left-right because i lazy to park at basement and shoot it at wall to adjust like my previous car lazy ma left-right is important to me also, as i always use kampong road at night without streetlight for instance Jalan Karak Lama |

anyone notice stock alza if go beyond 60km/h during heavy rain, it is most probably going to skid.
what's the issue there ??? 1. due to stock tyre 185/55/15 silverstone M5 lousy? 2. due to car weight very light ? 3. due to aerodynamic issue compared to sedan? 4. floor clearance height higher than sedan? please advise, really worry about alza owner since recently afternoon heavy rain. my previous car going at 120km/h during heavy rain, no problems at all, no skid nothing. water pond sure die la |

QUOTE(chicken7 @ Jul 23 2014, 10:18 PM) Those who afraid void warranty better dont change anything at all. Just go service & replace at P2. how much sc charge for brake pad replacement WITHOUT brake bleeding ?Wanna share some stuff I am trying. Proride brake pad. Good brake modulation, no more dirty rims. Also no squeeling noise. Before this changed to some brandX pad very noisy when braking. Proride brek pad -RM57 front set only DIY installation. Also bought a pair of Proride brake disc RM330 but have not install yet. The ori disc still have some life to go. Many otai in myalza use this brand. i was quote RM180 wonder what's the spec for "original" brake pad from p2 ? |

QUOTE(singk @ Jul 30 2014, 02:22 PM) 12 hours travel!!! on your FC, i think you a light footer bro. wah,i wonder whether Bosch offers front pads for alza? I have it on my myvi, it looks good. RM120 per pair. I didn't slam it hard to see how much "hard braking" it last before the brake fades though. I don't dare to push the pads to the limit as myvi disk rotor is thin (easier to heat up) & prone to warp. I have a warped rotor last time and the steering jerks under braking when i going down hill. I remember a few hard braking (say like 4-5 times; throttle, brake, throttle again, brake again) going downhill from gohtong jaya roundabout to karak highway on mintye pads (was driving Saga BLM manual) will have a brake fade (yet burn), let it cool down (by driving slowly) and the brake power comes back. rm120 for bosch brake pad for myvi? include labor and brake bleeding ?? that price is for 3set already installed on my viva downhill genting no stopping power at all, dangerous it's meant for horizontal road gentle use only |

Btw, Alza front brek pad similar to Waja front pad. all the brake pad looks similar to me but is there any different between old alza and new alza ??? |

QUOTE(singk @ Jul 30 2014, 10:47 PM) yea, that's right, incl labor. no bake bleeding, just some bleed out the fluid when they push back the caliper piston back to original position. good thing about the bosch pads doesn't as dusty as ori pads, and it bites. nope.i think those ori pads are meant for gentle driving, can't afford to push hard.... bosch brake pad does not bites. even road hard braking also less power. now using brembo brake pad, haven test downhill power. but best brake pad with gooding price ratio will be Trestor Advantage Plus ( Blue Pad ) You can expect IMMEDIATE stopping power. ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(PPZ @ Aug 1 2014, 10:58 AM) hey guys, i am planning to get SE version. Is it much difference between SE and Advanced Version? I am located at Sandakan, Sabah actually so the price will be more expensive if compare to peninsular malaysia. sorry, never been to sabah before, i assume most the road is "off road" condition ???As this is my first time to buy car, anything i have to aware of and what is the procedures? Hope my question wont bring any trouble to you guys. means very less tar road, most is sand road or kampong road ??? enlighten me pls 1st go check out alza at p2. 2nd submit doc for bank loan approval. 3rd sign doc, and wait for car registration. ( can go tender number plate if you like eg. ST7777T ) 4th, inspection your car, and sign DO, you're good to go. if you want all the accesories eg. roof monitor, gps + touch screen player those, you might go for full spec. otherwise, i think SE is more than enough. even my alza is kosong spec also feel satisfied already. |
