1)Where can I get to install stabilizer bars & noise reduction seal under the wheel panel for my new alza?
2) Will it void the warranty by doing so? |

QUOTE(tankx3 @ May 3 2015, 07:20 PM) Jimmy, next time can u at least attach a alza photo as proof? Whether the car breakdown or burn, it is depends on how you maintain it. Proton cars are well known as the lowest quality car in M'sia but I owned my 1st wira for more than 10 yrs, it doesn't fail me in the middle of the road before and it's still in excellent condition to date. I believe that all other cars are same if it gets well maintain by their owner. always see myvi accident and wira breakdown. Any reason? |

QUOTE(tankx3 @ May 8 2015, 12:15 AM) Hi Jack, Don't misunderstood guys! I'm just sharing my experience. I m just picking on Jimmy's comment. So pls dun take it seriously when I mentioned myvi and wira. Cheers Not to mention any brand, just take good care of your cars always and you'll live happy with it. That's what ppl called 'Preventive Maintenance' |

I notice that every single light of my car will goes dim slightly when the radiator fan starts everytime. Is that normal coz Alza's original small battery or is it my battery defected? I just collected my car 2 weeks ago.

QUOTE(singk @ May 11 2015, 03:06 PM) if plainly radiator fan i think it's not so obvious.it's more obvious when the aircond compressor kicks in. Conclusion is: It's normal. But why this doesn't happens on myvi & viva? Hopefully perodua will review on it to make sure the battery supplied is good enough for the whole car. Thanks singk! |

QUOTE(singk @ May 12 2015, 02:17 PM) u r welcome bro. Since this is normal on every alza so no point to do such mod to void the warranty just for non dim lights during aircond kicks in. BTW, thanks for your opinion. strangely my myvi is having this problem as well, it's more obvious when the aircond compressor kicks in. anyway, this myvi girl still running well, it's her 9 years this year. and the battery replacement interval is normal as well (approx 2 years) well, back to your point, to manufacturer, cost is everything, if you wanna have a circuitary that doesn't dim a while when aircond kicks in, either you change the aircond clutch to a lower power ones (that gives you an even hotter aircond since perodua aircond is not so cold adi), or you bump up the cables size and the power rating (not guarantee to solve the problem but it will reduce the symptom). And this increase the cost a lot. Imagine you have a main water pipe (main trunk cable) supplying water to all the pipes (electronics stuffs, injectors, sensor, fan, light etc), when you switch on the largest pipe (the aircond), the other pipe will surely feel the drop in pressure the moment the big water pipe opens. The same happens when you switch on dome light and starting engine, the dome light dims. I think perodua will try many ways to save cost so we gotta bear with it (unless we wanna pay more for non dim lights during aircond kicks in) |

QUOTE(singk @ May 20 2015, 03:40 PM) that a good heads up! but i do believe the probability for such thing to happen is kinda low or near to zero unless you use a pressurized hose and blast on the windscreen continuously. coz usually (my personal thoughts) hardly the water able to line up on top of the battery forming a connection between the terminals as your terminal should be oily (as the SC replace the terminal protector when you service your car which is oily) Didn't use any pressurized hose. I encounter it twice that my car was parking at open carpark under heavy rain. Once I checked after the rain stop I can barely see the water is dripping from that area and the battery top was almost 70% wet since the rubber is only fixed by clips instead of weather seal glue. To all Alzarian please take caution.I agreed that the water could hardly form a connection in between the terminals but there is possibility could cause fire. Btw, I had diy a water resistant cover for the battery. This post has been edited by Jackiecck: May 20 2015, 10:36 PM |

QUOTE(singk @ May 21 2015, 10:34 AM) thanks, i will check mine when i have the chance, or i try to spray water on it continuously using garden hose and see the outcome, i just worried your case is "independent" as the rubber seal might "ngam ngam" defect at that spot (what a coincident!) No worry coz I'm using the same material as the original cover that wraps around the battery. But for sure i'll check on it frequently... The DIY cover a brilliant idea. Just watch out if you using wet battery, the vapor gonna eat up the plastic material. |
