Why you want to remove the footbrake signal...? At least it sounds when it engaged when driving...

Hi guys, I am a new owner of a standard manual Alza. Everything with the car is OK except the gear shift gives off a strong vibration all the time. It is not visible to th naked eye but when I hold the gear knob, I can feel the vibration. Is this normal?

if you use the word strong and you mean it, my advise is take it for a check at sc. my 9 yrs old myvi manual doesn't have strong vibration on the gear shifter albeit i able to feel the vibration when i slightly playing the the clutch during the freeplay distance (there's a slight freeplay before the clutch pedal engage any movement on the clutch pad)

Normal, engine still tight. Me normally odo show around 530-550 max but my alza already 156k km ha ha.

Recently i install sort of cyclone stuff. Now around 400km range meter start blinking. Before this around 420-440 km. Seller claim will improve fuel consumption but seems not. Somehow the engine feel eager to rev, feel like install sprint booster. 140 still can drop gear

Last month full tank at shell kinrara r&r, kesas hiway. Arrive at desaru with range read 60km, 420km travell with constant speed around 140-160.

unless you messing around with the sensors, else you can't get a significant improvement by using this cyclone thingy. about voltage stabiliser, i'm not sure how much it helps but again, i personally don't think the impact going to be significant if you are just a typical driver. cool2.gif

sure you have, if you have a deep pocket, a piggyback ECU that override the AF ratio setting, make your air fuel ratio towards lean side. and that saves fuel. the draw back is you going to have more sluggish pick up as it disturbs the torque curve. If you have a shallow pocket and some electronic knowledge, disturb the O2 sensor signal by using resistor.
