Attached Image Just get my new Alza SE one or day before CNY.
Immediately sent to accessories to install "auto lock upon brake build in buzzer when lock/unlock car" and cost me for RM50 with labor for replacement.
Replace up MUGEN window guard/spoiler for RM65/= with labor.

Few days ago, drive to Spg Pulai, Perak from Penang. Reset the FC at Bukit Merah and heading directly to Spg Pulai and the FC is app 6.2L/100km using PETRONAS ROI95. Number of passenger =1.

Overall, FC wise is very satisfy. But, power wise is not happy. The auto (D4) not able to hike Ipoh top mountain. It move like turtle for only app 55km/hrs using D4 mode. Hence, got to change it to D3 mode.
Noticed that it's very difficult to reach 120km/hrs. I mean pickup. Unless, I press throttle FULL/CRAZY.

Perhaps maybe the car is too new as total ODO now is app 600km. Maybe the computer not yet get use with my driving method or the piston and mechanical part is still tight and need more exercise.

Huhu... Changed new battery as well after old batt used for 2 years. It is Century marathoner mf.  Very good price.
Rm160 with old battery taken.

I can get cheaper if getting more than 2 units with old battery trade in so called.  More better price which i can further nego with them.  Not sure if any of you want to bulk buy or not?

Hi Kiefer,
I use to buy those ayam brand from spare part shop in BW for only app RM140 and trade in old battery for RM20/= for my old car. Some more that's for 60 type instead of ALZA using 40 type only. That's should be more cheaper.
If take BOSCH, it'll additional be app RM170/=. But if problem, warranty need to wait.
But if ayam brand, the warranty is immediately 1:1 exchange between 1 year.

Hi singk,
I'm referring to Jelapang to Menora tunnel...

BTW, anyone here have any good recommendation of installing reverse camera using rear mirror type?
Will there be any warranty void to my ALZA if upgrade so?
Any good recommendation with price and so on will be appreciate. icon_question.gif

P.S: I still not get use to this ALZA by not able to see the bonet. My estimation not good icon_question.gif

guess old batch of alza gearbox tend to have some small issues like jerking. finger crossed the FL model will no longer have the issue since they changed the gearbox, not sure about gear ratio but one main different is the gearbox takes in more ATF 2.83l (new) vs 2.2 (old).

And do remember use D3-SP ATF, don't simply believe those mechanic telling you to slam in toyota type-IV ATF since your engine is toyota engine bla bla bla.... it will kill your gearbox easily.
*
I sent my new Alza for 1k mileage servicing recently n the serviceman told me the new Alza all hv bigger improve gearbox vs old type. I can't confirm which batch onward.

And just install new reverse camera (mirror) type by my own. It cost me rm120 include camera. I do it personally n no need drilling or cut wire. Can't guarantee either outside contractor can do that or not.

Been drove the Alza for more than a mtn . But never do side parking yet as I personally think difficult as can't see the bonet vs iswara. My estimation no good.
Hence think of having front parking sensor install. But it'll void the warranty as drilling occur to fix the sensor.
Maybe another way is to have antenna install at bonet as reference o solution.
Do u all hv this problem?

Normal, engine still tight. Me normally odo show around 530-550 max but my alza already 156k km ha ha.

Recently i install sort of cyclone stuff. Now around 400km range meter start blinking. Before this around 420-440 km. Seller claim will improve fuel consumption but seems not. Somehow the engine feel eager to rev, feel like install sprint booster. 140 still can drop gear

Last month full tank at shell kinrara r&r, kesas hiway. Arrive at desaru with range read 60km, 420km travell with constant speed around 140-160.
*
advertisement gimmick on this cyclone product. I oso did purchase "neo shark " device. It's kind of device at lighter port. However, it seem take mire FC

guess spark plug is one of the item to change. you can check your service booklet and also check with SC, they will have the info. i change the ATF during 20k km as well. just some preventive maintenance thingy.

smell on aircon? plastic smell? my friend kena on his myvi following a prolong full blast at max coldness.

the seat incline lever screw, guess you talking about the 2nd row seats? i kena the right one, settle it myself and then now is the left side turn.... damn.... i dunno why the screw can come loose.

Personal feeling that the changing gear of alza new gear box not so significant compare with my myvi and old alza which I tested from my neighbor’s car. Smoothly until 100Kmj. For speed higher than 100kmj need more time to achieved desire speed. You wont feel the engine powerful when you hard press on petal for smooth driving you will feel comfort.
*
I agree with you. The problem will slowly improve after running for app 7k

Just sent the car for 10k servicing and report to P2 encounter wind sound at driver window side when exceed 80km/h. The foreman adjust the window guide inward and problem solved.
They adjust test drive and I got no idea which area they adjust/align it.
At the same time, P2 recommend me to replace all the plug. And I feel it's not necessary at 10K. Decline P2 proposal and save the money.
