But then again 15" with the lifeless suspension, it's already a harsh ride not to mention lugging around a heavy ass... Adding to 16", won't that deteriorate further and at the same time even more fuel-consuming...?

bigger rims will make your pick up become even worse. if you always low load and travel a lot on highway, it's ok. However, the suspension gonna take extra penalty, could be potentially shorter life span.

Alza abs cost around rm600 at p2 sc. My alza front abs k.o around 85k km and change to proride....proride last only 15k km. At 100k km, i change all 4 to stock abs including front abs mounting eventhough abs mounting and rear abs still good.

I dont think stock alza suspension feel harsh at all, still on soft side. Pro ride feel a bit firm

Is it all the vibration and noise make you feel like metro bus. Noise, Vibration Harshness and Ride Handling are different aspect. I didn't say alza suspension is good, i said soft.

Before this i own satria neo and my other van is german origin, offcourse i know what is good suspension setup wink.gif

rm600 for whole set? well, alza suspension is more towards soft side as it mean for comfort (in fact OEM suspension setting are set to softer for comfort), else, you gonna have a bumpy jumping car when you drive alone. my 9 yrs myvi had a KO'ed front abs, i haven't change it still, just a bit nasty when going through bump (dives down easier). biggrin.gif

perodua cars are never famous of their suspension setup. They give you a sedate feeling in terms of ride handling. Wanna get a good feel of ride and handling and your pocket is not deep enough, go for Persona / Gen2 if you aiming for passenger car. pick up sucks but the ride and handling worth the price.

Yea, german cars are quite good in terms of their suspension setup, i remember an article comparing vios, almera, city and Polo sedan ride and handling during emergency maneuver i.e zig zag movement. Polo sedan rank 2nd in the test as City ranks 1st with minor difference (due to VSA equipped while Polo Sedan is kosong).
