kalau awak mau lagi sejuk , awak tanya TSER 60% . TSER naik , sejuk naik .
macam ini awak tak tau nak brand mana , awak pilih mau berapa TSER dan VLT , lepas tu wasap dia tanya harga untuk TSER dan VLT yang awak mau . dia yang sama model pun lagi turun VLT , lagi naik TSER .

kereta baru kan , buat ceramic coating pun baik , jangan lupa jaga maintenence coating . macam servis mileage kereta , ini pun mau servis basuh kereta .
kalau ada fikir PPF , tak perlu buat , tak berbaloi dengan kos yang tinggi lagi mau jaga dia .

Ya last time I also considering replacing my old tints with VKool back but VKool pricing is really super expensive nowadays. So cannot afford anymore.

You can also consider IrisPro for 2K to 3K budget , I myself considering replacing my old VKool tints with this brand, likely the Elite series.
Not so sure if smart tag can work but for Elite Spec, one user and say smart tag worked on Elite series. Need to check with the brand if smart tag really worked on Elite series 70 VLT spec once my budget permit.

Irispro gives 10 years warranty on Diamond and Elite spec, not just on workmanship but on performance (IRR and UVR), so that is very impressive. You can check it out too.

For VKool, the front screen, they use lower spec (VKool-75) to allow smart tag to pass and higher VLT (abt 77%). At least, to my knowledge, that is the spec they use 10 years ago for Front Windscreen. Vkool-70 got problem with smart tag.

If you are using the latest smartphones like 3, 4 years old at least, GPS got no issue. Old phones like Samsung Note 8, GPS sometimes got problem but the latest phones like S22, etc, no issue at all on GPS. Stronger updated GPS signal, I guess. Smart tag no problem.

For residential RFID, ya, Elite should still be using VKool-70 for all sides and rear. So RFID most of time don't work, at least for me, even for front FWS. I have to wind down side windows. For one of my other car, prev gen Vios with factory tint, no need wind down.

The workmanship could be improved but so far not much to complain as there is no dusted dent or whatever from the tinted screen
RFID and condo access card not working behind the tinted screen

Mid October helped relative do Puspakom and failed front windscreen, they allow same day reinspection no problem (just pay 2nd time). So I just sit there and remove the tint on the spot, then drive the car for one more round.

Now have to help same relative re-do tinting. Any recommendation on good accessory shop around Subang/Sunway/Glenmarie area? (can go further for good service) Also looking to spend max 700 on front windscreen only (front side windows were able to pass).

can someone recommend me a uv tint from shopee or car workshop that is not very expensive. i recently remove my rear window original uv tint as it turned blur from idk what reasons and is looking for workshop to add new layer of uv tint or try do it myself. i search shopee and there are too many options and dont know which is good

I have installed TotalGard Infusion Pro for my vehicle, the highest VLT for front windscreen 2nd highest VLT for the side windscreens. Regrettably the heat rejection is not very good, actually worse than the Huper Optik I had before this.

In this sense, the V-kool is definitely better than the Totalgard Infusion Pro in terms of heat rejection performance.

Which VLT percentage u choose?

Went with VLT 63/53/32 for my Alza, quite ok with it as it cost a third of Vkool in my previous cars.

mine with 53/53/2 for rear and sunroof. ok for heat rejection. High VLT can gain heat as well? Make sure u double check the tint with meter for IRR%. My other car with Wingard Royale, spend almost rm3k, choose high VLT last time, sometime felt the sun heat due to bright light. Double tint the car with lower VLT, same Wingard product and that make the car cooler and look cool (hopefully JPJ roadblock can skip)

Cost-wise it is a landslide win for Totalgard Infusion because the whole car costs less than RM600 only for C-segment whereas the V-kool now should be RM4k-5k. But heat rejection if compared to Huper Optik Sech60/C40 the Totalgard still lost but the Sech60 VLT is 59% which is lower (failed JPJ guideline). If one is not too critical with the JPJ guideline can still go with Huper Optik Sech60 and the total cost would be RM1.6k to 1.7k for whole car, now maybe abit higher I'm not sure.

If I end up with the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport, I will not be replacing the factory tint which comes with the car to comply with JPJ's 70% VLT requirement. The factory tint on the Toyota Corolla Cross is VLT 80%. Initially thought of going with this TotalGard but after replacing my 9-year old HuperOptik tint with this TotalGard, feels like no difference, in fact a bit hotter. When the Huper Optik was newly installed on my car 9 years ago, it is surely much cooler than this Totalgard but it's an unfair comparison since the VLT of the Totalgard is slightly higher than the Huper Optik.

VLT 53% for front windcreen should be much better than the VLT 63% but it's not an option for me. The Vkool Elite VLT70% tint surely has much better heat rejection than this Totalgard VLT63%. The Huper Optik Sech60 VLT59% is better than Totalgard VLT63% but that is expected because the VLT is lower. In the case of Vkool Elite, although at a high VLT of 70% it still manage to have better heat rejection than both Totalgard and Huper optik VLT 63% and 59% respectively. So in other words you really pay a high price for the performance, RM4k+ vs RM600 so it's a big difference.

The low price of the Totalgard is the main attraction so I wouldn't say it's useless. It's better than nothing. But if one has extra budget I would surely not recommend this Totalgard. Can go for Huper Optik at RM1.5k to 2k better performance but the VLT is still slightly lower than JPJ's requirement of 70% VLT for front windscreen so there's a risk there during roadblock. There may be other better options around RM2k to 3k mark and others who have experience with other brands may share their experience. For cost no object, my experience tells me V-kool is still the best but you pay for the price.

I eventually went with @dog999 3M Crystalline Package for the Honda City at their shop (Titan Solar Film Sdn Bhd) located at Old Klang Road near the Millerz Square.

Services and customer explanations from Kent and Phoenix are so good and attentive; workmanship of the tints are neat as well.

I was even invited to their office upstairs when asked about their 3M genuineness, Phoenix gave a thorough clarification plus the e-warranty stuff, and tested my tint again once it was applied on my car to confirm that it's the real deal.

Not a Smart Tag user, but tested my Apple Carplay's Google Maps, my house's auto-gate remote control, and boom gate card reader all working without cutting any holes.

Definitely recommend this place

Hi there infusion pro does it affect gps /waze ? How is the installation place ? Are they well train ? I'm considering to intall totalgard but scare their not pro enough to stick.

According to the shop, the 5 year warranty is only allowed to claim one time for each panel during the 5 years period.

I am not sure is this common to other tint brands as well?
