So dark but yet low TSER. Sure still can feel the hot

Just wondering, does it feel hotter now compared to during initial install ?

Or you just wanted to check to ensure it's running as it should ?

thinking of trying IRISPro hence asking long time users on the performance.

Hi, to be honest i feel irispro so far don't really feel the heat so i assume its still working fine but i just want to get it checked because they give 10 year warranty and its coming up to 5 years in 2024.. Friends told me to get it checked at least once a year and reapply/fix it as neccessary so you don't waste the amount you pay.

Full disclosure when i did the tint it cost around rm2k so its kinda expensive and want to make sure its working well. I can say though their workmanship is really good and there is no peeling issue or anything it still looks like brand new.


Going to try and test it with mobile version and go to shop near me and test this week .

wanna chip in limited experience of 4 years using irispro elite e35 variant on side windows , personally feel minimal heat coming through, especially the afternoon/evening sun, where it can shine straight to your right side of body. Pretty happy with it.

The thing with all these “performance” warranties is that you can only claim if it degrades by 10% or more IRR at the wavelength they advertise (IrisPro is 1400nm, meaning the blue version of those LinshangTech meters you posted earlier). So let’s say your tint is 95% IRR, even if it degrades to 86% technically cannot claim because the degradation is less than 10%, but realistically once it reach 90% IRR you will feel a lot of heat being let through already. Not trying to ruin your day (fwiw, I have IrisPro Diamond installed on one of my cars), but imho the performance warranties offered don’t really mean much.

Hi how about Sputtering tint for degradation? Some brand selling this features as great heat rejection + long life for degradation, Sputtering tint.

My IrisPro Diamond is marketed as “Multi Layer Sputter” or “Double Sputter”. Honestly, I have no idea how it will degrade over time. Now barely even 6 months. Some people say that almost all tints will degrade a bit the first couple of years and then stabilize.

Imho, mostly go for expensive tints with good warranty if you want JPJ compliance. If you plan to go dark (~30%) for whole car, then better to just get a cheaper brand and replace every 2-3yrs. Like that, if JPJ tangkap and force you to remove the tint and go inspection also you won’t rugi so much.

Lagi senang you top-up sikit pergi Alva beli dia punya RM488 tinted package. IRR tinggi sikit.

Llumar = lapsap don’t waste money. Thing peeling at the corner, I think it’s adhesive failure within warranty period but covid so I don’t care lah. This is windscreen. That time did in Chan Sow Lin HQ lagi. Sudah claim windscreen inso now using 3M. Very good but smartag fail, another kebodohan. No I won’t cut a hole in my tint for smartag. Don’t stupid pls.

Huper Optik ceramic series = bagus ini. On my car 6 years still perfect.

After reading some feedback on Rhinepro in this tered. Wah scary. Wanted to consider cause spec macam yes and price slightly cheaper than Huper.

Huper CS series roughly RM2xxx. So if you’re paying that much might as well get Huper. Big factory backing it. Abang adik Llumar, V-Kool.

Genuine huper optik import punya. It is also color stable at least for me, even the piece on sunroof which kena constant sunlights

Im user of huper optik for past 4 cars. I cannot move beyond this brand for tinted and no reason to switch other brand. Literally perfect

I'm a huper optik user.. Surveying out in case there's other new brands which is good since planning for new car. Since I want to a tint shop today tested my huper optik which has been on the car since the day I bought it.

10 years and 11 months..

No peeling what so ever.. I think still good reading despite the age. Not so much loss compared to new I think.

Sadly Sech60 discontinued, I feel it’s a good balance for front windscreen. Now have to opt for C70.

If refer picture attached there, how the IRR% is different? Increase somemore for the said same model

Last time if bought Mercedes Malaysia, all will get/slot with Wingard tint, either their top 2 model, Security + Solar tint spec. Use that back in 2015, decent spec, doesn't feel degraded (not test on meter), not feel hot even now already 8 years old. Plus Smart tag can use cz take IRR90% Royal model.

Cons of this brand, less popular nowadays, pricy as F without any promotion.

I think this brand, the marketing and branding not very aggressive. So other brands like Rhinepro more famous (which is why I looked at it).

It is also good, the price I tint today, versus 6 years ago, just stayed within inflation and didn't increase dramatically.

Then it is something wrong. Either the tint is different model or the meter rosak
