Just got my front windscreen tinted with raytech ultra 70, as written in the warranty card.
But somehow I feel that it is really warm driving under the sun....

What problem could it be? Fake raytech? Or written ultra 70 but actually something else...

Or could it be my wrong feeling?
Driving in the afternoon with my hand below above dashboard to test the heat, can feel the heat lorrrrrr....
Someone can enlighten me....?
Thanks

It's either you expect to much or they are flattering their specs.

Raytech Ultra70
VLT 70% ; IRR%97; TSER 58% ( better specs than Vkool) notworthy.gif

But one thing for sure, those tint are not cheap sad.gif

By looking at spec alone it even better then 3m crystalline 70 (50% TSER) already. But usually with such high TSER reading, it should hardly or minimum feeling anything under the sun with air condition on in the car. Usually will feel comfortable after few min air condition on.

Or maybe your expectation is too high? Did you tried under the same condition with others tint and get better feeling? (maybe you try to have a sit in your friend's car)

Sech 60 Front, C50-4mil sides, C50 rear, Sech 60 whole roof (2ea sunroof).
5yrs warranty and JPJ Cover.
Price I cannot disclosed because there will be compliance issue between dealers. Best you PM Steven for the price.
But I can guarantee is lowest you can find, if lower then just inform him and he'll match it up

Guys, I have a situation here.

So I just got my Civic last week and I had Raytech CS85 installed for my car windows.

I did notice some smudges and a few red lines/scratches on the window when I first got it but I didn't say anything because I thought they could be wiped off once the no-whirling-down-windows period is over. So today after a week, I went to get my car washed and once I got back home, I tried to clear off the smudges.

To my disappointment, however, they won't go off! I didn't pay RM2300 for such a sloppy work! Do you think I can go and complain to the vendor about this? I'm worried they're just going to say they were not responsible and those smudges might have been caused by me.

What do you think I should do?

By the way, this Raytech vendor is located in Melaka.

Ok, I will try it again and see..
My previous car was using ecotint and I was satisfied about it.
But now I am paying more than twice of what I paid for ecotint I expect it tone equally good or better.

Anyway, I think I better go try it again before getting into any conclusion here, but I remember can feel the heat la...
Hahhhaah..

Thanks uncle 6 and 3M.
Keep up guy posted...

Bro, Please do and complain. You not only helping yourself but this will be learning for service providers not take customers for granted. This will help them to learn. And if you don't get it resolved, talk to Raytech headoffice. If they don't want to help also send them a letter stating that you will be referring to consumer tribunal. However, be calm and polite at all times and exercise your right as consumer.

vmad.gif You're right I think I should go and make an official complain. They can't be let get away with this when customers are paying huge sum of money for their products and services. Hopefully they won't turn their 'jerk mode' on when I go there.
