Guys, I have a situation here.

So I just got my Civic last week and I had Raytech CS85 installed for my car windows.

I did notice some smudges and a few red lines/scratches on the window when I first got it but I didn't say anything because I thought they could be wiped off once the no-whirling-down-windows period is over. So today after a week, I went to get my car washed and once I got back home, I tried to clear off the smudges.

To my disappointment, however, they won't go off! I didn't pay RM2300 for such a sloppy work! Do you think I can go and complain to the vendor about this? I'm worried they're just going to say they were not responsible and those smudges might have been caused by me.

What do you think I should do?

By the way, this Raytech vendor is located in Melaka.

Bro, Please do and complain. You not only helping yourself but this will be learning for service providers not take customers for granted. This will help them to learn. And if you don't get it resolved, talk to Raytech headoffice. If they don't want to help also send them a letter stating that you will be referring to consumer tribunal. However, be calm and polite at all times and exercise your right as consumer.

vmad.gif You're right I think I should go and make an official complain. They can't be let get away with this when customers are paying huge sum of money for their products and services. Hopefully they won't turn their 'jerk mode' on when I go there.

This is just to update my case before this.

I'm glad to inform you that all is well now. rclxm9.gif

Service from the staff is very satisfactory, they didn't try to blame me or anything. And one defect that I thought was under their responsibility is actually Honda's so I will have to refer to Honda later. Their rubber glue used for the front windscreen strewn a bit. Hmphh.
