QUOTE(thenoobone @ Sep 2 2014, 07:27 PM)
Btw i went to canny cool in Subang jaya branch

Lousy service
Firstly we are from Ampang , went all the way to Subang in order to get our car tinted ( Wira only ) , stucked in jam and reach abit late aprox 30-40 minutes late but did inform , So someone told us that yes sure can come but already have one car came in , so have to wait , since we dont mind and quite free on the appointment and leave the car about 4.30pm , and if not mistaken there is 2 car being tinted as well

After 2 1/2 hours of rounding at Subang Parade , went back , only to notice nobody even touch our car , and since we took the cheapest package ( Rm160 ) + wira car nobody even car to apologize or even worst the ah beng just say ah , ya i know , because i questioned why he didnt do my car since i left there about 2 hours and he said will start work after 1 hour since they have other customer came in first, typical business who look down on others who dont choose premium service or drive fancy car

2 thumbs down on this lousy service , since then never bother to go any tinted service

Hi thenoobone, Sorry to hear about your experience but I believe there are still many brands and retailers out there that carry out satisfactory service such as Raytech, vkool & 3M. Don't make too early assumptions, there are still many great feedback around. As applies to any field of business, there are always a good side of it, vice versa. Better luck next time bro wink.gif wink.gif

Thanks Sean for his patience and good services!! He basically will keep on update and follow up if you are interested in Raytech products..

Sean contacted me directly despise I have a very lack of knowledge about tinting stuffs and booked appointment on Saturday to decide which tint I want after thorough demonstration at the Puchong branch.. before this set my budget low but in the end, I had decided on Cs85+Ultra70.. 101% satisfied!!!!!!!
Superb workmanship, punctuality and attitude at the Puchong branch..
Highly recommended for Raytech tint!
Thanks once again bro.. appreciate it alot!!!

P/s: invest more in tints are definitely much worth it.. cosmetics can come later on.. if high budget, Centurion is far more superb... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

hard to answer whether worth it or not to pay additional rm400,,but for me not much difference between this two model..honda city in my house use eco tint ray-barrier non security for all windows..63% VLT but not dark and have pass through a lot of jpj and police roadblock..my house city have 95% IRR and TSER 60%..really cold,,no heat at all..

Actually depends on personal preferences, car type and also own budget. As for me, I am not going for top spec Vkool Elite+ArmorCoat or Raytech Centurion RX if I dont own luxury continental cars. Feels not worth it. If I were to own cars like Myvi or Saga SV, my budget will be around max rm1k and i think it should be sufficient enuf..
My old school dad was shocked when I told him I did my car tint at rm1.7 whereby he said few hundred ringgits should be enough already and takut i kena conned or what.. But then I told him I did Security tint instead of just solar tint which you can settle with around rm500? Depending on brands also..
Hope my advise can help you..

Vkool elite very top spec meh? Vkool 40 is top spec Ler ! The so called security tint film is a hazard during any car accidents! Why pay money to endanger ÿourself?

Vkool 40 is indeed a good film but it might be too dark. Vkool 55 and 70 might be the better choice to comply with JPJ regulations.

Security films might cause some issues during an accident, but there are numerous benefits and advantages that we can take into consideration such as preventing shattered glass etc.

Cheers biggrin.gif

Hi all sifus, I hope someone can give me some comments.

A tint film shop boss recommend me 3M Crystaline 70 on FWS, Crystaline 50 on RWS & 3M Prestige 40 on side windows. However, I notice most people here use 3M Nano for their side windows. So what is the difference between these 2 films? Which one is better?
