Hi bro, you can't get the price online. Brochure price is standard in all Raytech outlet.

Noted, initially was informed the Centurion RX-4mil package with a 95% IRR for windscreen. After some negotiation was given free upgrade to a 97% which they used this term "Deluxe", but was told its another name for the Ultra 70. Was puzzled as I was not able to find a 95% IRR non-security tint from the website earlier, either 97% or 85%.

Was a little surprised when I got a call from Raytech KL that mentioned about RX-4mil comes with Ultra 70 for the windscreen at RM3100. But anyways already booked it with the shop yesterday, let's see how this combination pits against the V-Kool 70 that came FOC with the Teana in terms of heat rejection.

All is good as long as it is USA film. The only problem is consumer do not know how to differential it. You are welcome to read my thread on post 2.

Get my car tint done with Raytech. I choose Raytech due to the many good feedbacks here, USA product, and I'm not regret about it!

I use Centurion 6mil and Ultra 70 on my front windshield. Noticed the big difference and cool as I've been driving my car for 1 week without tinted like oven that time.

Thanks Lordgitsy for good service and super responsive on all my questions.

Highly recommended to everyone!

Raytech is only specialist in window tinting at the moment. I think the company may input other product like paint protection or sticker in future. However it is not available now.

About the safety film, there is more things to explain.
1. The main purpose for safety film is delaying break in time maybe about 30 second for you to escape if somebody trying to break your glass.
2. The glass still will be broken when the break strength above 120lb, meaning people still can safety you from outside.
3. Safety film will hold the glass strong to prevent shattered glass flying and injure you.
4. If you want to escape from inside the car. You need special technique to break the glass. watch and learn :

hi guys, i am surveying as well. was looking for vkool but a bit out of budget. reading through all the posts, it seem like a lot of people recommending Huper optic FWS SECH 60 and other windows either normal C50 / C50 Shield 4 Mil.

1. I cant find SECH 60 in the official website http://www.huperoptik.com/en/smart/index.aspx

2. C50 can be found in link above. It is different with C50 Shield 4 Mil right?

3. From link above still, I believe C50 Shield 4 Mil = Hüper Ceramic 50 Shield - 4 Mil (code C50S-4). am i right?

Anyone can shed some light on above? thanks in advance.

After reading whole day. I would like to share my thought with those who are inexperience as me, and looking for good tint + security + JPJ less kacau + reasonable. Don't shoot me too harsh. just my thought ok.

1. Don't go for ayam brand. You will regret.
2. Most recommended: Huper Optik (HO), VKOOL & 3m
3. Security film, for eg: 4 mil, just merely thicker. In general: It takes ~ 8 seconds to break your window with 4 mil tint, while normal tint takes ~ 4. seconds.(subject to skill and tool)
5. Some security film might not have good TSER compare to normal film. So you have to judge you want better heat rejection or want a few more seconds before someone break your car windows.
6. My own experience: Regardless of seller and brand, your friends will get quoted price cheaper than you for rm300~500 for the same spec, or vice versa. That's kinda sad. That's why you only allow to PM for price (so called professional). No choice la. cari makan. i understand. but still a bit sad, cause different too much d. rm100-200 still can accept. but 200~500 is too much. Nobody like to be water fish. So for new guys, always ask your friends for price comparison!
7. Afterall, the most recommended tint spec I found is:
a. HO- FWS & RWS SECH60, All other sides C50S-4mil (security)
b. HO- FWS SECH60, All other sides C40
c. HO - whole car SECH 60.
d. VKOOL - FWS & RWS VKOOL elite, all other sides VKOOL SAFETY 4mil (security)
e. VKOOL - whole car vkool elite.

Brand/Model VKOOLElite SECH60 C70 VKOOLSAFETY4 C50 C40 C50S-4
Visible Light Transmittance 73% 59% 71% 72% 52% 42% 52%
Visible Light Reflectance 8% 8% 10% NA 12% 9% 14%
Ultra-Violet Radiation Rejection 99% 99% 99% 99% 99% 99% 99%
Shading Coefficient 0.50 0.54 0.62 0.61 0.58 0.53 59%
Infra-Red Heat Rejection 94% 83% 91% NA 69% 80% 67%
Total Solar Transmission NA 46% 38% NA 38% 29% 39%
TSER 55% 54% 47% 50% 50% 55% 49%

8. I research the spec above from official website. new inexperience should do so for your prefer tint.

9. Beware of double layer tint, or tint over 6 mil tick, it will spoil your power window. (too heavy i guess?)

10. In the end, balance between the price and the spec is what will you should consider to make your decision.

1. Don't go for ayam brand. You will regret.
- Agree, if consumer always can get Ayam brand at Groupon, Living or Deals.

2. Most recommended: Huper Optik (HO), VKOOL & 3m
- Go for International brand.
- Try to get more info on the brands such as certificate, manufacturer, technology and more.
- The more info you get, the more genuine and reputable of the brand.
- Eq. International Brand website usually end up with ".com" while Malaysia is "com.my"
http://www.v-kool.com/ and http://www.v-kool.com.my/

3. Security film, for eg: 4 mil, just merely thicker. In general: It takes ~ 8 seconds to break your window with 4 mil tint, while normal tint takes ~ 4. seconds.(subject to skill and tool)
- Yes, do not believe so much on those safety film video demonstration.
- Sometimes it cost you more to replace the film in case your glass shattered.
- Always remember that safety film is shattered resistant.

5. Some security film might not have good TSER compare to normal film. So you have to judge you want better heat rejection or want a few more seconds before someone break your car windows.
- Depends, some of the security film come with good heat rejection and of course additional cost for it !

6. My own experience: Regardless of seller and brand, your friends will get quoted price cheaper than you for rm300~500 for the same spec, or vice versa. That's kinda sad. That's why you only allow to PM for price (so called professional). - The best way is take time to visit the tint that you have selected.

7. Afterall, the most recommended tint spec I found is:
a. HO- FWS & RWS SECH60, All other sides C50S-4mil (security)
b. HO- FWS SECH60, All other sides C40
c. HO - whole car SECH 60.
d. VKOOL - FWS & RWS VKOOL elite, all other sides VKOOL SAFETY 4mil (security)
e. VKOOL - whole car vkool elite.

Brand/Model VKOOLElite SECH60 C70 VKOOLSAFETY4 C50 C40 C50S-4
Visible Light Transmittance 73% 59% 71% 72% 52% 42% 52%
Visible Light Reflectance 8% 8% 10% NA 12% 9% 14%
Ultra-Violet Radiation Rejection 99% 99% 99% 99% 99% 99% 99%
Shading Coefficient 0.50 0.54 0.62 0.61 0.58 0.53 59%
Infra-Red Heat Rejection 94% 83% 91% NA 69% 80% 67%
Total Solar Transmission NA 46% 38% NA 38% 29% 39%
TSER 55% 54% 47% 50% 50% 55% 49%

8. I research the spec above from official website. new inexperience should do so for your prefer tint.
- Well, difference people have difference requirement. However is good to compare all the specification before make decision.

9. Beware of double layer tint, or tint over 6 mil tick, it will spoil your power window. (too heavy i guess?)
- Put double layer tint on your windows is bad choice because
* Cost to replace is double when your glass break !
* Product and summon warranty usually is void !

10. In the end, balance between the price and the spec is what will you should consider to make your decision.
- Yea, but whenever you select the brand you should know your BUDGET !
