Can you guys showed me tint brand/model that is JPJ-legal for the front windshield? All I see is the marketing talk by the big brands, but when I see their product spec in their own website, none has VLT above 70%?

Which brand-model has tint that passed the VLT above 70%?

For that budget you might wanna look for lordgitsy. Raytech has product range that can cater to your budget. wink.gif after reading most of the replies here I think this is one of the good ones that you can get at that budget.

Most brands should have tint that are 70% or higher VLT. Just need to ask them to quote you. Usually the tints are either 70 or 72% VLT. IF you're into a more premium tint, then it's 3M V-Kool, HO, etc. Value for money - Raytech AFAIK. icon_rolleyes.gif

I guess the factory window tint has to be pretty lousy since i never tint the car.it is the factory tint.

Also,i tot insurance cover for windscreen and not the rear glass??
*
Normally these factory tints provide basic heat resistance only. If want good heat resistance window film have to retint outside. Some of the insurance to cover for windscreen and rear glass have to pay extra money. It's depend on policy smile.gif smile.gif

Yes bro. Changing factory rear window tint is possible to spoil the demister. Even the technician got skill, the chances is 50-50 also smile.gif

Hi,

Just want to check whether you have done your tint with the new JPJ rules of 70%-50%-30% VLT (front to back).

Do you find it ok, look wise, especially on a white car?

Hi,

It was quoted by the Car SA when I bought the new car. Some sort like package.
Only side window is T4-50, front and rear is other type of Llumar.
