How do you know after tint, your window will be JPJ compliant? The tint itself might be JPJ compliant, but if after add with our stock window's VLT it breaks the JPJ rules, will the tint company covers it?

Is there any way to measure our stock window's VLT? So that I can decide which product to choose to tint.

As V-Kool policy, we cover JPJ summon only.
There is meter call TINT METER INSPECTOR can measure the VLT of the glass with tint.

Can I go to tint shop first to measure my stock window's VLT first, before buying?

Recently just bought cx-3....asking llumar,3m and raytech all quoted me 3-4K for tinted solar+security film...is this the current price in kl now?

Nope. U can get a decent one for at lowest RM1.5k. Usually it'll be between RM1.5k-2.2k.

RM3-4k is for top of the line security tint, I think

Can you guys showed me tint brand/model that is JPJ-legal for the front windshield? All I see is the marketing talk by the big brands, but when I see their product spec in their own website, none has VLT above 70%?

Which brand-model has tint that passed the VLT above 70%?
