For Penang user,

3M web only show Neuton dealer but actually 3M do had other authorize dealer (grade B).

Some of them, even having HO & 3M together for compare, go google them,

If u bought from those grade b dealer , 3M inform that must request E-warranty from those dealer so you get protected.

Neuton offer limited choice and price is higher...
** searching tinted for my NHC.

i will update after confirm the price with related dealer

how is Breyton located in crystal point?

why cant they give us a few types to choose instead only proving details for what we only inquire...

very hard to make a decision

Hi bro, it is not possible to just remove the second layer film only, the first layer will be removing together when remove the second layer film. If anyone want to add the second layer film for darker purpose, we have to consider the VLT rate of original glass and first layer too. Technically, add darker film (50-80%) for second layer will not compliance with JPJ requirements. The reading will show lesser than VLT 30%. You can do it unless u can take the risk from summon or find a seller who can cover the JPJ summons smile.gif

currently given skytint all around...

its too light

VLT is only 70 for all around

plan to add additional layer of tint to the side n rear windows.

what is recommended? and also place in penang.

need to reduce from side to 50% n rear n back to 30% as jpj specs

Hi bro, for your information, if you want to install the second layer with other brands, the warranty will not be provided for the second layer and the warranty of first layer may void. If you still concern about the warranty, you may just send your car back to the original shop where first layer tinted. They will still cover you for the warranty for second layer film. Otherwise, you may remove it and retint a new film according to new JPJ rules. smile.gif

yes warranty will be an issue but have no choice now

The car comes with free Mazda Skytint ... its less than 2 weeks old... security tint

Since no warranty if i put double layer tint now, should i go for some cheaper ones? There is a shop here having Classis tint or US-Cool tint which only charges rm500-600 for all windows without windscreen. Another shop offering Sahara for rm900

Hi bro, normally the water dots take 1 to 2 weeks for the tint to fully dry. Security film (thicker) might take longer time to dry up. Expose your car under sunlight more in next few days and it will help it to dry up faster smile.gif
