Hi, just want to ask do the tinted company tint the front windscreen outside or inside? Because recently I went to Raytech and saw they tinted the car front windscreen outside & as far as I know it should be inside. correct me if I'm wrong. Thks
*
They use the outside as the template/measurement to cut the film which you might have mistaken for putting on the tint. Tints always go on the inside.

Well, I haven't got a chance to test it directly under the sun yet but did tested it by Raytech own intense light ray. This 80% is good enough for cutting off the heat ray if comparing with the 50% & 65% heat film although the 65% Classic range is considered exceptable already! At least I got what I'm budgeted to with the level of heat rejection range

Thanks for choosing Raytech bro, hopefully you can enjoy your ride with Raytech window film. May just drop me a message if you need my assistance ya smile.gif

I'm using Raytech's 2nd cheapest line... the 45% TSER one. Pretty decent for me already tongue.gif

Hi bro, thanks for supporting Raytech products. We did received some feedback from our previous customer, the package 45% TSER one has better performance than some highest range of house brand product. Somemore the heat resistance of Raytech products can be lasted longer smile.gif

Hi bro, for your information, all the tinted are installed inside the window. Below is the step we install the tinted on front windscreen.
1. Before our technician install tinted on the windscreen, we will clean the exterior of windscreen
2. Place the tinted on the exterior of windscreen and adjust the size of tinted.
3. Use heat gun to heat the tinted to make the tinted become softer.
4. Cut the shape nicely according to your windscreen's size.
5. Roll up the tinted.
6. Clean the interior surface of windscreen.
7. Tint the tinted on the interior surface of windscreen.

The reason that we need to heat and make the tinted softer because front windscreen shape got a bit curve. Since it need to be skillful when installing tinted on front windscreen, so Raytech only allow experience technician to install tinted on front windscreen for our customer car.

Found a video on Youtube which done by third party smile.gif

Hey everyone,

I just got offered RM1500 rebate OR LLumar Titanium 4-50 security tint + smartag+ full tank for Mazda 3 HS in JB.

I want to go with the tinted but wondering if LLumar Titanium 4-50 is good and worth the price or should I go for other brands like Rhinepro?

Hope for your advise, thank you!

Bro, don't go for RhinePro. LLumar still better than RhinePro provided the Llumar that you get is an original LLumar.
Rhinepro is a housebrand and its front windscreen is not good at all. (I'm an ex-user of Rhinepro. Of course, so far no bubbling, but heat rejection is not up to expectation.)

Hi bro, it is not advisable to use the car glass cleaners on the tint. Just use the normal water okay already smile.gif

Hi bro, if not mistaken, the purplish reflective effect of those BMW,RR and S400 is originally on the windscreen effect. If you wanna find tinted which has this same effect, you can find similar colour tinted with higher VLR (>10%), so higher VLR of the tinted will bring out the reflective effect. But it also easily attract Police or JPJ sight on your car when on the road brows.gif
