because your name is famous in /k/. laugh.gif
for Lenovo's reliability, it depends on luck normally. some are happy with the quality, some dont.

for Z510 with i7, i tried after negotiation, i can get RM2600 lowest.

for the MSI GP60 you mentioned, the advantage there is matte full HD screen but MSI is known for inaccurate colours (even worse than Lenovo). besides, it comes with i5-4200M, which is a dual core. so i'd suggest you to go out and compare the 2 models by your own. i believe your experience is different than mine. icon_rolleyes.gif

Are you sure you can still get Y500P SLI brand new sealed unit?
Make sure it is brand new and it is Malaysia set.

In term of performance, not much difference. At this level, GPU is still more important for gaming, will not affected by CPU much. Anyway, both models are spec with i7 quad core already.

Thats right bro. Stay out of Vostro 5470. I use my laptop upstairs from the router and I only get 1/5th of the download speed as compared to my IPAD 4, PS3 and my old ACER laptop. What a joke.

The problem lies with the intel Network adapter (N7260). Avoid that and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the recommendations smile.gif Are all these Asus models can allow the user to detach the battery? Because I've saw one post here in Lyn that the model K451LB have non-detachable battery. Wouldn't that shortened the battery life when the user want to continue using the notebook even when the battery is low?

Yes they came to replace the network card but to no avail. I asked for them to change to another brand but they say it isn't possible. rclxub.gif Finally I asked for a refund and they agreed.

One thing about Dell is the customer service is commendable at least. smile.gif
