DELL gave me a total refund but charge laptop shipping using DHL which is RM80 and thats all.

Thats right bro. Stay out of Vostro 5470. I use my laptop upstairs from the router and I only get 1/5th of the download speed as compared to my IPAD 4, PS3 and my old ACER laptop. What a joke.

The problem lies with the intel Network adapter (N7260). Avoid that and you'll be fine.

That being said, anybody know what is the network card lenovo Y and Z series is using?

Also, I am torn between using a Lenovo Z500 4th gen i5 4200m vs Lenovo Z400 i7 3632MQ which one is better?

Yes they came to replace the network card but to no avail. I asked for them to change to another brand but they say it isn't possible. Finally I asked for a refund and they agreed.

One thing about Dell is the customer service is commendable at least.
